Using game shark cheat codes

hi,
peace with all the members in gtplanet!

i just purchased ps2 with gt3 a few days ago..
and i'm doing well.. but.. the problem is my girlfriend..
while i was searching through internet,,
i found this site and saw gameshark cheat codes..
but i don't know how i can use it..

if anybody knows how to use it,,
please give me detailed procedures to use it..
(consider that i purchased ps2 a few days ago..)

Welcome to GTPlanet! You must have purchased a "GameShark" and have it in use on your PS2 before you can use the codes.

Don't use the gameshark! GT3 is much more rewarding if you play through it as it was intended.
