General Format
  • Races start in a week or 2
  • 6 Rounds
  • 3 Rounds a week
  • 2 Races per Round
  • 75 Litres of fuel at race start
  • Lap count is now race specific and will be shorter than round 1 was
  • Races held on Tuesday – Thursday and Sunday

  • Damage: Full
  • Tyre wear: 4x
  • Fuel usage: 5x
  • Off track grip: Real
  • Ghosting: Off
  • Corner Cutting: Weak
  • ABS only
  • Race Starts with racers unable to move will be restarted
  • No in-game chatting while qualifying or racing
    • We will have a PSN group for that
(GMT will refer to whatever the current time is in the UK, summer time or not)

Qualifying

  • Half the grid do 1 outlap and 1 hotlap and park up.
  • Second half of the grid do the same once the first half have completed their hotlaps and stopped.

Spec Requirements
  • 500bhp max
  • 1200KGs min
  • Front engine
  • Rear wheel drive
  • RS – Racing Soft tyres maximum
  • Lesser compounds (RH+RM) will be available
  • Any cars that appear to have a natural advantage will be given a BOP adjustment.

Balance of Performance (BOP) Log
  • Lexus RC F GR.4 is a bit slow at the test track (Interlagos)
    • Suspected to be due to strange gearing (7 speed)
    • No action taken for the time being
  • Lexus update, it cannot keep up and as its too slow and the odd one out it would make life hard to remedy this. We advise not to use this car unless you're confident you can run with it.

Visual Requirements
  • Cars must use clear lights. No yellow tint.
  • Cars must use a racing windscreen banner
  • Cars must show their name on the car in the livery race options.
  • Car designs must not change, if they do it needs to be small and me (GT-Welsh) or martials must be informed
  • Car must not have a race number that is already used.
  • Number boards are available on my GTS life log.

Success Weight

This is added weight when a driver has done well. While it may feel unfair, the aim of this championship is to have an evenly matched set of races, not 1 or 2 people running off into the distance.

Success weight in this championship is done both at a race level and a championship level.

Race Success Weight

This is added weight after each race within a round
  • 1st – 10%
  • 2nd – 9%
  • 3rd – 8%
  • 4th – 7%
  • 5th – 6%
Round Success Weight

This is added weight depending on where you are in the table
  • 1st – 5%
  • 2nd – 3%
  • 3rd – 1%

Pit Entry

I will loosen up pit entry rules, so crossing the line is now not an automatic penalty. However, anyone crossing the line and in doing so being a danger to others will be given a penalty. The safest option is to just not cross the line!

If someone crosses the pit line and hits you or cuts you up, make a complaint, see complaints below.

Complaints

Refer complaints to me (GT-Welsh) or any other marshals post-race and they will get reviewed.

Testing

We will have open lobbies up most evenings after about half 7 though this isn’t guaranteed.

I'm in! Later I will edit this post stating which car I'm going to use. Need some testing first. I will be using #25. Nice championship setup GT, and I accept the rules and regulations.

Yeah I did read that bit, won't be very even field then if all cars are 500bhp max. Thought they might be diff specs.

Its not just same HP, but also same weight. And ther user can tune to suit. Testing has shown that most of the cars are very close, but how close may depend on the ability of the driver and mechanic.

Pit stratagy is going to be important so we will hold full length practice races before the official race to try out different methods. (If GTS let us select our starting fuel in practice we wouldn't need to).

Count me in. Will be using the #75 (since 25 is taken) Mercedes SLS. PSN is CrazyJohnIsHere (I accept the rules and regulations).

I have a question though; I saw penalties are on weak. Are we racing Monza with penalties turned on?

glad to have you on board :) yeah we are, we ran it like that in the previous championship with little trouble, the pens are annoying but generally learn what you can and can't get away with in practice

Got room for one more? Jaguar Entry?
