While it's true that cars don't cause the problems, it's a fallacy that factories do.

Overall mankind contributes only 1% of greenhouse gas emissions over the planet each year. Some 15% comes from volcanic activity and a humongous 75% comes from...

Cows.

Cows "eructate" (belch) almost constantly while eating, due to their four-stomach digestive system. They produce more carbon dioxide each per year than any 10 cars put together.

So it's basically all the fault of Texas.

wow theres something you don't know find out every day

I think/know the Insight is the lightest, and therefore, probably fastest. I dont think we will/should see many full size vehicle's with hybrid engines, not until they make them much more powerful. But if the hybrid engine advances anywhere near as fast as the Piston engine, it will be about 45 years before we get some seriously fast hybrid or straight up electric cars.

I wouldnt even say that long.... i cant see why it would take that long??? i mean if they can make things fly, cars go 150 mph in an instant, i cant see why it would take that long to make a hybrid car go as fast as an electric just it might take a while for them to make a car faster then the mcclaren F1 or the Bugatti.

That's absurd - are we going to use power as any kind of factor in this decision? By your logic, a Skittle is the fastest thing ever because it's pratically weightless. Sadly, in this instance, you're actually right, only because of the general lack of hybrid cars in the marketplace.

Honda Insight 0-60: 10.6
Toyota Prius 0-60: 13.1
Honda Civic Hybrid 0-60: 11.3

buy why would u really care about how fast it goes???? u buy a hybrid because u want to save money... not because u want a good on gas car byt fast.... but that does sound good though

Because I don't want to have the worlds hardest time getting on to the freeway. I need some power under the hood

some might, there making a NSX hybrid car if I'm not misaken

You mean the Honda Dualnote/Acura DN-X concept cars, those are pretty sweet! 400hp of Hybrid power and super amounts of torque that could beat Vipers, too bad there are no plans of building one, but then again since the HSC concept is eerily similar to the hybrid counterpart I think they could release 3 types of NSXs.
1st NSX-350 hp V6
2nd NSX-Type-R (hopefully) 410 hp V6
3rd NSX-Hybrid (hopefully) 290 hp 4-cyl
