I know this question is pretty stupid, u know, asking if a VIPER is a good car? ASKING?, of course it is, but honestly I have been getting pretty good race cars. It all began with the Mercedez CLK Touring Car, then the S2000 LM race car, Toyota GT-1 road car, Nissan Race Car with the Texel logo, Toyota Altezza Race car, and even more. So I just find this car, not useless, but like the others.

Beat Beginner and Amateur simulation mode already. Heading for professional mode :D

great power, can be made to handle, but the inherent long american car, high torque, high power rear end slide will lose you some races on road courses to AI cars in the pro league. I know, It took me longer to get halfway through pro than to beat the first two league's combined. Go ahead and do some endurance races and win f1 car, other than that, get a zz11 tommy kiara and mod it and tune it out. Don't waste time trying to win a ten race series with tire damage with it unless you don't enjoy winning. lol. the other car you list are good, I have them and others, but anything other than the ones I listed were a waste of time trying to race to win in my experience:cheeburga

It is OK but not good for races tougher than amateur series. Even fully moded up to spme 900 + Hp, it still suffers seriously against AI's in the pro league...

I'd rather get a Pennzoil Nismo GT-R and beat the ever living crap out of the rest !!! But beware that R390 and GT-One Race Car if you come accross them ... The best you'll ever see is third place against that couple !!!

Viper is OK but I always managed to get a tuned JGTC Supra to handle better... the Denso Sard is my preferred ride. :D

The Japanese monsters may handle more smoothly but they are all a bit predictable....

Now the Viper is just a blast to drive.....nothing like knowing whether your'e controlling the car or it's controlling you :)

I've done quite a few races higher than amateur series including a few in amateur. It doesnt suffer that bad against the AI. I did a race in pro a couple days ago. I finished nearly a minute ahead of the second place guy. The Pennzoil is a good car but not one that I would rely on.

Great car, havnt had a prob with it, Ive won a few races against R390 GTone and 787b, especially enduros, it handles better than it did in GT2 I think. But I am dissapointed with its top end speed.

This should help, I think it is a good car.
