Margin of Victory
No time given… all AI cars +1 lap

Won the series and won the Supra RZ.
Oil change and the H.P. is at 294.
Sorry if not too descriptive… just tried to stick to the facts.

Edit: Per Neon Duke's suggestion, I added margin of victory.
All races were saved out to replay for the write up...pretty
boring to WATCH and not drive.

Hey, welcome to GTP, kodiak! Good to see some fresh names in the Writeups forum. Ask some good questions and give some good answers, and enjoy your stay here at GTP.

One item that would be very interesting to see in your writeps is your margin of victory. Your qualifying margin is good information, and it would be nice to see how that translated 10 or so laps later.

Yeah thanks Kodiak.

Your settings helped me out heaps. I changed my gearing at Laguna and added some LSD at SSR11 but other than that your settings got me over the line.

all cars break in. after a few hundred miles, they are at max hp, just change the oil every 100 miles or so, and you will keep max hp

:D Not 100% correct 68 cuda. Cars that are "WON" ( as opposed to being "BOUGHT" are delivered at "Broken in HP." Bought cars will eventually attain this same Max HP. Then after a certain mileage the HP will DROP OFF no matter how often you change the oil. Without an X-Port the only solution is to buy (or win) a new version of the car & break it in again to retain Max HP. (W/X-Port you can access the .ini file in 2-3 minutes & restore the Max HP quite easily.) Hope this helped...UB57
:D

OOOPS, almost forgot WELCOME TO THE FORUM 68 cuda !!! 👍

i was under the impression that the vitz pro league was insanely hard? with a margin of victory of over a min (or even lapping the whole field) this makes me think it's just the slowness that people are complaining about....am i right? or is the series actually hard :)

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. Glad to see the settings are working for other people.

After being a "lurker" for a while, I noticed this series came up quite a bit .("How do I win? / Anyone have settings for the Vitz?")

Seemed like a good challenge. Method to my madness on the settings was to make the back of the car as loose as possible to try to counter the semi-truck understeer. Also, with the brakes biased at the back, it seems to help "swing" the back end around corners.

Thanks again.

Interesting...
I'm running this race now, but I'm having trouble...winning the races by maybe 4-5 seconds. Being a relative newbie to this game however (well, 100% on GT1, 2 and concept) I have no tuning experience, other than the obvious gearing/ride height/tyres etc. So this obviously places me at a disadvantage...thanks I'll try the settings out and see how I do.

Well, erm...so how I did:

SSR11 II - Well I'd rather not talk about this one, I sucked royally and finished an embarrasing last :embarrassed:
21" behind 1st, 8" behind 5th.

Grand Valley Speedway II - This race went much better, I felt as if I needed to make amends for my poor performance last race and I surprised myself at how I driven...with real conviction and concentration (for once :P). My tires were red on the last 3/4 of the final lap, so I lost a bit of time...but I still managed to hold out for a 43" victory.

I was pleased and relieved to win the championship, it was very enjoyable (despite racing in a pink Yaris). It was good to have a decent challenge for once. Oh, for the record, I won an Altezza LM.

Thanks for the advice kodiak

What makes the Pro Vitz hard is having to race 10 laps around a certain 6.426 mi oval.

I heard that, now I just mute my TV then grab my Discman, sit back and listen to some tunes  since the lack of shifting.

Damn nice race times you got there Kodiak! you gave the guys over at GT3 times.com a run for their money  👍

I might just give this Vitz pro league race a try myself sometime soon, see how I fair :D
