What Sponsor Would You Want For 2018-2020?

After months of silence regarding his 2017 entry, Portugal's Nico Costa-Monteiro has finally taken the wraps off the recently-revamped #76 DW12 chassis, now representing the smaller parent operation of Team Kate Upton, Team Christie Upton.

A 3D render, courtesy of American driver B.K. Glover, who requested the render from a Pakistani designer, displays old colors with a new twist. Burger King has been confirmed as the car's main sponsor, after the American fast food restaurant chain extented its sponsorship deal for the next two seasons. However, new sponsors have joined the fray; Japanese media mogul Bandai-Namco, a long-time partner of Costa, joins the "#76 as a secondary sponsor, while Royal Purple and Fanta bring their own drink flair into the mix. Finally, technical partners Bosch, air filter maker K&N and GM's part brand ACDelco complete the sponsor set for the 2017 season, as TCU will field Chevrolet engines provided by the parent team in TKU.

For Costa, it's business as usual; while the 2016 season has not been consistently good for the Portuguese driver, Nico is confident that TKU's data and assistance will bring some much needed basis for TCU's debut as a team. "For me, it's a new roof, but the home's still the same", as Costa-Monteiro spoke in an interview with racing magazine On The Back Straight. "TCU has less firepower compared to TKU, since they have two rookie drivers and two experienced ones, but that does not mean we are not working as a whole single entity. For TCU, it's not just a training season, it's pulling our own weight as part of TKU as a whole." Despite having a rookie teammate in Matheus Michelin, Costa is not concerned with the Brazilian not pulling his own weight. "I've known Mich for a long while; we were NASCAR teammates, he was my boss back then, therefore I don't think of him as a lesser driver. He's bound to have the pace, but experience needs to come from practice. That's not something I can provide with a snap of the fingers, he needs to race to get it. So, in essence, he's not my boss, but I'm also not his. We are evenly-leveled drivers with different experiences."

Costa also spoke of the Toshiba Indy Lights Series, saying that "while TKU hasn't shown much interest in fielding an entry for it, I personally think that there is plenty to learn from bringing a young driver into the team as a development driver. It may not be a safe bet 100% of the time, but it can pay great dividends if things go wrong with the main teams. It's all about providing the means and the opportunity, and even a young team like TCU can afford that much..."

Whether or not 2017 will provide Costa with his dream season, that's yet to be determined, but for now the #76 has the colors to display the Portuguese's newfound motivation...

Everything In Blue is being worked on, while all that is striked out is completed. Bold is simply all the cars I'm doing.

For likely obvious reasons, both the Coke cars will be done quickly today due to a tweaked base I prepared

I've offloaded work on my schemes to @BKGlover just so @RACECAR's load is eased slightly so hopefully they can be ready before the 31st.

Oh...shoot. Well, I just completed the primary so I guess that just leaves the Xbox car for BK. I'll send him some logos.

'The Queen City' Cincinnati, Ohio was a place full of buzz as the first team to reveal it's 2017 primary cars to the public were Team Porter. The team displayed the three cars and went into some detail as to what races we will see those cars racing in. The team's efforts will be spearheaded by Italy's Patrick Marcelli and Switzerland's Nicole Liechti for the full season. Marcelli will be driving the #7 Google car in 17 points races as well as the VRR All Star Event. Coca-Cola has taken sponsorship duties for the other 10 points events as well as the tests and the Monster Shootout. Nicole Liechti will drive the #81 Monster Energy car in 14 points races as well as the Monster Shootout and VRR All Star Event. Rolex has responsibility of the other 13 points events and the tests. They will be accompanied by E.C. Gadget, who will be racing in 5 points events, as well as both exhibitions and all of the oval tests in the #23 British Airways car.

You can send me the compressed TGA in a PM when you're done and I'll post it in the livery convo.

Beginning in 2017, VRR will have an official music playlist consisting of 50 songs selected by the VRR community and the playlist curator. For 2017, the curator is none other than VRR driver and 2016 Rookie of the Year contender Sakura Ishibashi. For those interested in contributing to the playlist, send her your suggestions by private conversation. The playlist will be accessible via Spotify on Halloween, with the final playlist selection revealed the day before.
Is this still open for submissions? Ive only just now seen this

I'm still alive, super busy on graduating this December.

Playlist has been limited to 50 and ready. If I am allowed to do this next year, I'll likely make the playlist longer than that. Also, because some of the songs are not available on Spotify, the list will likely be made available via VRR's YouTube channel.

Update:

-Alternates for the 50 and 77 are completed and currently being sent.

-After a facepalm inducing error, all the primaries of the Polaris Motorsports cars have had the issue corrected and are being sent.

-Both the primary and alternate scheme for the 80 are near completion.

-All the alternates for the Polaris Motorsports cars are being worked on and will be sent tonight along with both the primaries and alternates of Impulse racing.

-Tomarrow will be dedicated completely to the Cat Devil Racing Cars with both primaries and Alternates being done.

We're almost there everyone 👍

I want to thank those that have contributed their work so far. There's been a ton of brilliant liveries from multiple people, so much that it's practically impossible to pick a clear favorite. I need to do some catching up in putting everyone's AI stats in the game for the cars, but that's a good problem to have.
