Touring cars are nothing new to VRR. From the Acura NSX, to the Subaru BRZ GT300 model, we've had touring cars in some form since the start. Well, it's coming back in a very DTM-esque way. 125 miles, compound changes, single lobby action. Join us!

VRR Repsol Touring Car World Series Technical Regulations
1.1. All drivers competing in the series must inform the series director of those intentions, detailing the car number they wish to use, team they are driving for, and a primary sponsor that is not already taken.
1.1.1. Car number 1 is reserved for the reigning series champion. Car numbers 2-999 are open to everyone.
1.1.2. Car numbers cannot have a 0 preceding them. Numbers 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 are prohibited.
1.1.3. Every driver must be a part of a team in some capacity to be allowed to participate.
1.1.4. Teams are restricted to two drivers per race. Teams can have a rotation of drivers if found necessary.
1.1.5. Teams must choose a tire supplier for the season. Available options are Bridgestone and Dunlop.
1.2. Teams new to VRR must use names that are friendly with GTPlanet's Acceptable Use Policy, and must not be an existing real life team name.
1.2.1. Team names cannot promote organizations unaffiliated and/or unallied to VRR. (See 2.3.1. for list of affiliated organizations.)
2.1. Liveries featuring sponsorship from tobacco companies, or pornographic materials will be prohibited. Violations against this rule will result in an automatic suspension.
2.2. Liveries promoting a political stance or agenda will be prohibited. VRR remains a political neutral ground, and will remain open to everyone as such. Violators will be given one warning to refrain from using political advertising. Those that ignore the warning will receive a suspension.
2.3. Liveries promoting or containing decals of organizations similar to, but unaffiliated and/or unallied with VRR will not be permitted to take part in official VRR Online Competitive Championship events.
2.3.1. Affiliated organizations to VRR are: Cherokee Racing Championships, Racing Hearts Universe, Furi's Racing Leagues, United Racing League.
2.3. All cars must use the official series number plate, located with this link. Drivers must also use the Super GT number font, found here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0.
2.4. All drivers are limited to a single livery for the season. Exceptions may be granted for tribute or memorial purposes only.
2.5. Teams cannot use primary sponsors reserved by other teams in any capacity.
2.6. Liveries are expected to be tasteful. Meme liveries will not be permitted to take part in any official session.
3.1. VRR is a clean racing environment. Rough, but fair competition is expected. Accidents will be reviewed after each race and post race penalties may be assessed.
3.2. Drivers must be aware of their surroundings at all times in a multiclass environment. Drivers in the faster class will be expected to drive cleaner and use patience with their overtakes.
3.3. Drivers attempting to lap cars will need to use flashing lights as well as patience in passing.
3.4. Drivers are allowed to fight to stay on the lead lap. However, once they have been lapped by the leader of the race, they must maintain a predictable line while being lapped by other competitors.
3.5. Drivers that have been lapped cannot fight to regain that lap unless they are engaged in a battle for direct position on track.
3.6. The racing surface is determined to be the asphalt/concrete which contains the racing line, in addition to curbstones. Sausage curbing, and astroturf do not count as part of the racing surface.
3.6.1. Penalties will be assessed based on if drivers gain an advantage by abusing track limits by either cutting the insides of corners or by using the outside boundaries on corners and corner exits.
3.7. Pit entry and exit lines are to be respected at all times. Drivers that are found to cross the solid lines entering or exiting pit lane will receive a 10 second post race time penalty.
3.8. Passing under yellow flag conditions is prohibited. Drivers that pass under a local yellow and do not give the position back will be penalized.
3.9. Ragequitting races are seen as a sign of disrespect for the series organizers, the other competitors, and the spirit of racing. Leaving races in such a fashion will be met with consequences.
3.10. Drivers vying to defend a position on track are allowed one defensive move as a proactive measure. Making a defensive move as a reactive measure will earn a warning/penalty. This includes weaving back and forth across the racing surface.
4.1. Events and issues that happen during the race can be met with post race time penalties.
4.1.1. Crossing the pit entry or pit exit line will result in a 15 second post race time penalty.
4.1.2. Repeated corner cutting will result in a 10 second post race time penalty, irregardless of if an on track penalty was given.
4.1.3. Jumping the race start will result in a 20 second post race time penalty
4.1.4. Passing unstricken cars under waved yellow flags will result in a 20 second post race time penalty
4.1.5. Causing avoidable contact will result in a 15 second post race time penalty. (Contact in VRR is defined as contact that forces a car off track, into a spin, or otherwise serves as a massive impediment without inflicting damage.)
4.1.6. Causing an avoidable collision will result in a 30 second post race time penalty. (Collision in VRR is defined as contact that causes physical damage to an opponent.)
4.1.7. Rejoining the racing surface dangerously (in traffic) will result in a 15 second time penalty.
4.1.8. Dangerously serving a penalty earned during the event will result in a 20 second post race time penalty.
4.1.9. Avoidable contact with another driver under Safety Car conditions will result in a 30 second post race time penalty.
4.1.10. Avoidable collision with another driver under Safety Car conditions will result in a 45 second post race time penalty.
4.1.11. Passing a driver while not on the racing surface will result in a 30 second post race time penalty.
4.1.10.1. If an overtake is completed in this manner, the driver at fault has three laps to drop behind the driver passed illegally.
4.2. Other penalties awarded for off track issues will not result in a time penalty, but may be seen as more serious.
4.2.1. For the first offense of leaving a race session prematurely, a reprimand will be given to the driver in question.
4.2.2. For the second offense of leaving a race session prematurely, a one race suspension will be awarded.
4.2.3. For the third offense of leaving a race session prematurely, a two race suspension will be awarded.
4.2.4. For the fourth offense of leaving a race session prematurely, a four race suspension will be awarded.
4.2.4.1. Race suspensions apply to all VRR Online Competitive Championships.
4.2.4.2. Appeals can be made with sound reason as to why the voluntary forfeit occured.
4.2.5. Causing a deliberate collision with another car for any reason and with any end result will result in an automatic two race suspension.
4.2.5.1. Subsequent suspensions for this offense will increase by two until 10 races, in which a 6 month suspension.
4.2.6. Insulting a driver through prejudice or unfounded malice will result in a one race suspension once evidence is brought forward. An appeal will not be granted.
5.1. Race lobbies will be opened at 5:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time, allowing 30 minutes of practice.
5.2. Qualifying will be timed to 15 minutes. Drivers may not leave pit lane until after the timer has been started by the race official. Once the time has elapsed, all drivers will be permitted to finish their current lap and park at the designated parc ferme location.
5.3. Race will start with a rolling start after a manual formation lap to make sure drivers aren't stuck in auto-drive.
5.3.1. Formation lap speed will be 62 mph/100 kph.
5.3.2. Drivers will remain in a single file order until the field enters the final sector of the track. The field will then form up in rows of two, with the pole sitter and odd number positions starting on the inside in relation to turn 1.
5.3.3. The field will go green at the apex of the final corner of the track at the pole sitter's discretion. Passing before the start/finish line is permitted ONLY after the race leader has accelerated beyond 65 mph/107 kph.
6.1. Safety car periods will be brought out for instances like mass disconnects and crashes that meet a certain criteria.
6.1.1. The criteria for crashes that bring out safety car periods are listed below. Other instances may receive the designation based on circumstance.
6.1.1.1. Accidents in which three or more cars are involved, or two cars receiving engine damage, or a car becoming stationary with at least half of the vehicle on the racing surface in front of oncoming traffic. Drivers that receive engine damage must type the letters "EF" for Engine Fault, whereas drivers off track must type "OT" for Off Track. Drivers impeded by a stationary vehicle can just type "C". Upon which, the safety car driver will type either "SCD" or "Safety Car deployed".
6.1.1.2. In the case of a mass disconnection, the Safety Car driver, or the race leader, will type "SCD MD" and lead the field to a red flag stop on the pit straight. The race leader or Safety Car driver will record the order of the drivers remaining and then everyone will exit the race and wait for the disconnected drivers to return. Once the drivers have returned, the race will restart with with less time based on how much time was remaining when the mass disconnect occured. A manual formation lap will allow everyone to get into their proper grid positions, and then racing will resume.
6.2. Under a Safety Car period, all drivers must be single file, with two car lengths minimum between each car for most of the period.
6.2.1. The safety car will run at a speed of 62 miles per hour.
6.2.2. Pits will remain open the entire duration of the safety car period. Drivers are encouraged to pit before joining the queue of cars behind the safety car. Drivers that pit after catching the queue must cycle to the rear of the queue in the order they exited pit lane.
6.2.3. The safety car period will last two full laps. (For example, if the safety car is called for on lap 26, laps 27, and 28 will all be run under safety car conditions, with the race returning to green flag conditions at the end of lap 28.) Drivers must catch up to the queue before slowing to safety car speed, but are not permitted to pass once the safety car is deployed.
6.2.4. Once the field enters the last sector of the track, drivers may bunch up closer to allow for a decent restart.
6.2.5. Races can end under safety car if the safety car period is called for with under three laps left in the race.
7.1. The driver that wins a race will earn 25 points.
7.2. The driver to finish second in a race will earn 18 points.
7.3. The driver to finish third in a race will earn 15 points.
7.4. The driver to finish fourth in a race will earn 12 points.
7.5. The driver to finish fifth in a race will earn 10 points.
7.6. The driver to finish sixth in a race will earn 8 points.
7.7. The driver to finish seventh in a race will earn 6 points.
7.8. The driver to finish eighth in a race will earn 4 points.
7.9. The driver to finish ninth in a race will earn 2 points.
7.10. The driver to finish tenth in a race will earn 1 point.
7.11. To earn points from race positions, drivers must complete 110 of the scheduled miles to be classified as eligible to score points.
7.12. Bonus points, which are exempt from classification requirements, will be awarded for the following values: 2 points for pole position, 1 point for fastest lap of the race, 1 point for most positions gained from starting position.
8.1. This series features tire changes. Tire compounds to be used will be the super soft and soft racing compounds.
8.1.1. Only complete compound sets are allowed to be used. Drivers that start a race with soft tires and super soft tires both applied will earn an unappealable disqualification.
8.1.2. Drivers are permitted to qualify on either of the two tire compounds they wish. Drivers that qualify in the top 6 will be forced to start the race on the soft compound tire, while drivers 7th and lower are permitted to choose their starting tire compound.
8.1.3. Pit stops for the mandatory compound change cannot take place within the first five laps of the race or the last five laps of the race. Drivers that do not change compounds during the allowed laps will be disqualified.
8.2. The championship will feature success ballast, meant to prevent drivers from winning multiple races in a row and improve the competitiveness of the field.
8.2.1. Drivers that win a race will receive 3% additional weight per race win, which they will be required to have on their car at the next event.
8.2.2. Drivers that finish 2nd in a race will receive 2% additional weight, enforced in their next applicable event.
8.2.3. Drivers that finish 3rd in a race will receive 1% additional weight, enforced in their next applicable event.

As mentioned on Discord, I won't reserve a spot since I can't commit fully to the time. If I am available at race time and there is not a full grid, I would love to join in and get thoroughly beaten!

I was going to ask if you wanted to be teammates but it looks like you switched cars didn't you? I don't think teams can have two different cars.
You are correct...which means...
Updated my entry post. Still looking for a team.

Thanks
Want to drive for Black Rose Racing again?

Series now up to 13 entries, and added a section for wildcard entries such as Pezza's.
