@John Wells @Skip7950 and other drivers:

The Wednesday weather setting for the Porsche 908 Series is as follows:

Date: 21/06/1971
Time: 03:00
Weather: Clear / Light Cloud / Clear / Light Cloud (sync to race)
Time Progression: X5

Weather setting for Monday Ferrari v Aston is as above, but time = 02:00

Thanks for the invite Paul and Sick.

Unfortunately I’m only occasionally free on a Monday and I can’t race Wednesday or Friday anymore. If you’re ever having a friendly non championship race @Sick Cylinder then give me a heads up and I can have a try out to see how I fare!?

That's a shame, but understandable! I don't normally go online except on Monday and Wednesday for the races - online gaming can be a time bandit so I limit my gaming. If you have the other guys on your friends list like @John Wells @AndreasR (Simbalora) and @IfAndOr etc. they may be able to invite you to races etc.

Well, not happy with Ford reliability then! Two mechanical failures out of three races.
I've had quite a number of cars over the years, 2 of which were Fords. Both of them gave me the most mechanical problems I've had with any of my cars. So maybe SMS have a very good simulation. :)
Let’s see if the German engineering behind the Porsche is better!
Funnily enough I've never had a Porsche (or a Ferrari, Lamborghini etc) but let's hope so!

I haven't tried it yet @Skip7950 so I'm not sure how dark it is. But after a couple of races in the Ford Escort I've brought some night vision goggles so I'm ok.

More to the point, I’m really rubbish at PCars2
Get off with you. You're talking to someone who's taken 8 years or so to move up a grade. 8 years! :P
Shame you can't race Suts I think you'd enjoy it. I might send you an invite some time. See you over in GTS, I'll be at the back as usual.

It certainly can. To compensate I tend to limit my sleep instead. ;)

You need an extra gear for the start/finish straight @Tavilha :)

Yep - we're planning on keeping this final drive and switching to a slightly longer 6th gear. That along with a K-Pro ECU for higher rev limit should be enough for most circuits and hillclimbs in Portugal

What engine did that last small red car (Ford?) have in it?

That was a VW Polo! I don't know what engine the guy has in it but he later told me it's got 600hp, stock brakes, stock suspension and road tyres!! :scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared: Very safe indeed 👍

@Sick Cylinder - I thought I'd better give the 908 a go and have noticed that there's two number 7s and two number 4s. You already know this because there are duplicates on your list. Do we pick anyone in particular or one we like the look of?
I can't see it mentioned anywhere.

I quite like the #7 with the arrows since it gives me a clue as to which direction I should be heading in.

I've reproduced the table below. SMS have made 12 liveries, but using only 9 numbers so some people will have duplicate numbers, but ideally different liveries. For example Friday has the first number 7 livery (the one with the arrow) while IfAndOr has the second (without the arrow).

As there are only 12 liveries - the list ends at OldBass and starts to repeat at John Wells so John has the same 2 as Simba (i.e. the first one) and Joedakiss has the same 7 as Friday etc.

It is a shame that SMS have only made 12 liveries using 9 numbers - in my view there should be a minimum of 20 liveries per car (16 plus 4 reserve) however I presume that this is what Porsche wanted. Some of the cars have even less - in extreme cases only 1 livery which will make using them online undesirable.

@Sick Cylinder can't make this Wednesday or the next few weeks tore my ligaments in my ankle, was looking forward to these cars as well.

Get well soon! Come back strong!

while IfAndOr has the second (without the arrow).
Got you. I'm arrowless. :)
Don and Hass have sick notes so that'll free up a couple of numbers, 42 in particular.

Don't pass on a great car just because of the lack of numbers & colours though. We can always use our imagination. ;)

See you (all) later.

Results from somewhere in Scotland.

I only captured the top 10, sorry.
Next race I can capture RS Dash standings if @AndreasR can't make it. I also use the app. However there was a bug with the latest pcars 2 version, which seems to be fixed. Just have to confirm it

Edit - here's my video. Includes a T1 crash due to badly synchronized turn in (just a couple million euros of repairs, no big deal)
