I already had the S&M double dvd set so I bought the new S&M 2 blu ray version and it's a cut above, just awesome 👍.I totally forgot Metallica's S&M2 was released last week so I'm finally going through it. For the first like 15 minutes, you'd think you were listening to the first album. It's really good though and more bands should do collabs with symphonies.
Been smashing about on wreckfest with my rock playlist blaring seemed appropriate for the game... Im a bit short of rock tracks in my collection there seem to be some aficionados on here... any recommendations of high tempo tracks in a similar vein to these would be much appreciated ;-)

With Nirvana and Foo Fighters, you're certainly on the right tracks with a number of great tracks from both Nirvana albums Nevermind and In Utero. And to continue the grungy theme, Stone Temple Pilots (STP's Core and Purple are great albums) are worth checking out for similar themed songs. Likewise Alice In Chains with songs like Them Bones. And speaking of Wreckfest, I must look at getting a copy, looks like huge fun. Either way thought I'd make a little list:
Nirvana:
Foo Fighters
- Breed
- Stay Away
- Very Ape
Stone Temple Pilots
- Monkey Wrench
- Breakout
----------------------------
- Naked Sunday
- Sex Type Thing
- Unglued
- Army Ants
Somewhat recently I've been getting into King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard properly, reminding myself of how fantastic a band they are. I'm ashamed if anything that it's taking me up until 18months or so ago, to properly invest myself in their music, especially considering my love for Tame Impala and other associated great Aussie acts like Pond and GUM.
I'm more than happy to trade favorite Elvis Costello songs with you. When I bought "Punch the Clock" on LP back in 1983 from a small record shop in Banbury in England, I had no idea who Chet Baker was. I've learned a bit in the last 37 years.
