When I realized that some people multitask in front of the computer (as do I), I thought that it may be interesting to see what GTPers do whilst they congregate on this forum, if they do anything else at the same time. GT Planet is no doubt interesting enough to fully occupy oneself, but it also has the power to draw people out of their current activities to post or observe on this site.

With that, I am currently working on a lab report that is due in 2 days.

I searched and found nothing, however I am aware that this thread is in very much the same essence as the other "What Are You Eating/Drinking?" and :What Are You Listening To? (V)" threads. Should conflicts arise, this thread is open for deletion.
 
Currently finishing up Arcade Mode on GT1, only five races to go! I never actually gave it much thought, but it gives me something to do when all my friends are in class.
 
I'm trying to do another doodle like the one I've got in my avy, but right now I'm looking for a face to draw from.
 
I am currently using my keyboard to type out this post that explains what I'm doing right now. I'm also pondering on how Polyphony made their version of the Ford GT brake and turn good.
 
I'm AutoCADing electrical plans for a hotel in Dayton, Ohio.
 
Finalizing the design of the brake rotors for our Formula SAE car in SolidWorks.

Later, doing some studying for my internal combustion engines midterm.
 
Here is an example of my AutoCADing. It will eventually be a Circuit City.

I'm building a wine bottle rack for my wine collection.
assembly is done, Been spending the last few days making it look 150 years old. It's turning out better than I expected. I shouldn't even be typing with my hands all dirty.
I'm also smoking and drinking Jack Daniel's...

This is a real man's post, smoking and drinking while building something to hold alcohol. Could it get any better?

As for me I'm working on finishing up my archaeology report from last summer's dig. Yes I'm just now getting around to it, but hey archaeologist are notoriously slow I found out.
 
I'm building a powerpoint presentation for my informative speech on framing in communication.

You're right, it does come out at a little too macho. But it's true, I'll post pics of it (next to a cigarette pack and a Jack bottle once I finish it. :cool:


Btw, where was the dig, and what were you digging? Fossiles? Buildings?

It was on my universities campus, it was a farm house and barn from the 1850's. It's not all the interesting really, we only found 14,000 artefacts so it was a rather small site. The good thing is we had quite a few documents so we knew a lot about the history going in.

Right now I'm trying to find a decent copy of a song which, for some strange reason, keeps skipping on the CDs I write. It's the only song that does it, and I've tried different copies of the song. Weird.

Same with a certain song on my iPod. I've tried countless different files of the same song and it just cuts out and ends the song like 20seconds and the same for if I skip to the middle of the song just another 20 seconds then cuts out and stops it.
 
Make that 3 of us although the song I'm trying to find is impossible to find through a decent service, with iTunes being my last resort.
 
Playing GT4, reading car news and pondering what career I should pursue, relatively all at once yes. (GT4 is kind of just sitting there)
 
Just reading on GTP but most of the time, chatting (msn), surfing the internet or typing/reading emails.

For those of you who are interested,

I'm building the giles-guthrie.com Fantasy F1 2008 game

So, I've got Dreamweaver, Fireworks and a couple of Explorer windows open on the primary screen, plus Outlook & Firefox (giles-guthrie.com Forums, autosport.com, giles-guthrie.com Database Admin, giles-guthrie.com Fantasy F1 Test, GTP) on the secondary screen, and Excel & Firefox (Autosport Forix) on the laptop.

I'm rather liking my little studio at the minute.
 
Looking out and staring at another snow storm....Snow needs to go away real soon so the RX-7 can come out and play.
