it was you get a yellow flag YOU get a yellow flag everyone gets a yellow flag tonight at monza
Can I give you a good suggestion if you can do it, I too just recently moved up to a 5 from my 4 and had a decent wifi connection but our internet router is upstairs from thy cave. I did some creative wiring along baseboards etc and made a wired LAN connection from router to PS5 and is a major improvement. So I've been getting a bit paranoid over my PS4's age, and specifically it's ability to keep a WiFi connection, so I've been staying out of online races until I get a PS5. Otherwise, however, there's still plenty I've been doing. For example, I did one of this week's challenges, the WRC Gr.B round at Colorado Springs since I hadn't tackled that one yet. Then, I did some laps for the online time trial featuring the Dodge Charger Hellcat @ Northern Isle, and it seems that much like every other event that permits the handbrake, I can't seem to break into silver range, but that's fine.
As for today and tomorrow - before Spec III drops on Thursday - I think I'll take on some more World Circuit events that I somehow haven't gotten to yet. Plus there's the other online time trial, featuring the Citroen GT by Citroen, and while we have about a week and a half before it expires, I think I'll be pretty busy with Spec III's content once it drops. As such, I might see how well I can do on that one before the update.
Today's experiment was simpler. And more successful.Experiment day
The 30 minute PP700 race at Le Mans, in my experience, usually has weather ranging from a few sprinkles and a small amount of standing water to torrential rain resulting in over 2/3 water depth on the HUD gauge
And I often win on tyre choice strategy since the AI cars will tend to go out onto the wet track using RH tyres or worse
SO ... I figured "why not ASSUME rain, fit IM tyres and tune up power to the max?". (Precluding the fitting of dry weather tyres)
... blah blah blah
