Not bad, it looks like you have some marbled map and added a spotlight, but you did a good job at it.

Yeah the original is just a pencil drawing I did on my Art History book. Then I scanned it in.

Then I Photoshopped it:
I just put a Watercolor filter on, added Lighting effects, and a Lens Flare. Pretty easy stuff, but I just liked the design I got while being bored in class.

I was thinking of getting photoshop, but 3dsm should hold me content for now. But then again, with photoshop, I can make better textures than w/ PSP7 for 3dsm, so it might work out some time. Until I choose that and test Sim City 4, I'll just be playing w/ 3dsm5
