I was just wondering what you people think of the new Saturn Ion. My family just got one. I think it's not bad, but its a domestic *sighs*. I think that when some more after market parts come out it will be better....especialy "twistechs" turbo kit :) and a nice pair of rims would make it a mean machine.:mischievous: http://www.saturn.com:97/is/ this is the ion site.

What do I think of the Ion? Well, let me start out be expressing my deepest condolences....

:lol:, couldn't have said it better myself!

The thing is fugly. The entire car. Some cars just have a few things wrong with their design that spoils it, but the Ion is one big design mistake. It just seems like a random of rounded squares, circles, and a few lines to "spice" it up. Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead in one.

The interior is also chintzy. Weird fabrics, strange dashboard, and the oh-so-hated center-placed speedometer/odometer...

As for the engine and handling, I've heard that it's fairly decent, but of course I can't say so myself.

it has a 2.2 Ecotec Motor, GM Performance is making, or going to make crate motors and mods for the 2.2 Ecotec.
