What do you use to clean your scanner?

I was just wondering what you use to clean your scanner bed. Mine has been getting a little dusty lately. I am unsure how to get rid of the dust, so how do you clean your scanner? Do you use a damp cloth or something, I know that water will ruin the scanner.

I don't clean my scanner - i don't use it much, but i it's getting dust, try one of those fluffy dusters like the "mr sheen ust grabber". I know you can get them in the uk, but i am unsure of the us. I see nothing wrong with streak-free glass cleaner and a very soft cotton towel. 👍

Yeah, that's better for a good clean, the fluffy dusters are only good for a quick dust every so often, but can't cope with much dust

Ok, I was thinking about using a streak-free glass cleaner, but I didn't know if there was some anti-static finish or something on the glass.

There isn't any.I clean mine all the time,with a streak- free cleaner,and never had a problem with it.

You could probably use a half 99% Isopropyl Alcohol half water solution to clean it. I use that to clean my LCD. a microfiber cloth would be good for a rag.
