what if somebody came to your house right now and said you have 30 seconds to grab 1 video game consol, 1 game, 1 cd, and 1 movie (dvd) and you would be taken to a place for 1 year with only these 4 items for entertainment, what would you choose ???



here are the rules:

everything must be in your home right now !!!

you can choose any consol and 1 game for that consol with no accessories, all memory will be erased when you get there. (consols with a hard drive will have the hd erased, consols with mem card will be allowed 2 mem cards but they will also be erased)



the consol you choose has to be able to play cd's and dvd's or you are only going to be able to play the 1 game you choose.



there will be no internet so there will be no online play.



here are my choses:



consol: XBOX



game: FORZA



cd: BEASTIE BOYS LISCENCE TO ILL


movie: JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK
 
1 video game consol : Desktop :dopey:
1 game : F.E.A.R. or BLACK
1 cd : iPod Video (technically it has an album in it) :D
1 movie (dvd) UNDERWORLD or Chronicles of Riddick

Ok ok... so I stretch the rules just a little, the other alternative is to shoot myself. :dopey:
 
Console:PS2 with wheel /pedals, and pen / paper for keping records
Game:Gran Turismo 4
CD: The Tea Party, but can't decide which album. Probably Seven Circles or Interzone Mantras.
DVD:I'll usually only watch a movie once so it would likely be a music DVD and the only one I have is The Tea Party...

P.S. The console / game is a difficult decision between PS2 / GT4 and PC / Microprose Grand Prix 2. I know that both would keep me happy for a year. GT4 wins it because it has an extensive soundtrack in case I ever want to listen to something other than Tea Party

DVD: One of my porn DVDs, after all I'm gonna be alone for a whole year...

Game: Final Fantasy 10 - Will last ages
CD: The Battle Of Los Angeles - RATM
Movie: Fight Club

Game : GTA SA (gta3,vc,sa package... problem, I don't own it ;))
CD: a mp3 cd : mixed music
movie: taff decision, probably Heat

concerning the game... GTA is a world, you can do a lot, explore a lot etc ... I'D probably chose another game for a month, but for a year ? has to be GTA imo, the Xbox package is the ultimate thing, although those might be several discs...in thaht case GTA SA, didn't find the time to finish the game, I'm maybe 10% through the story line...

Mine:

Game - PS2/Gran Turismo 4 I never play the game, but if I had a year to play a game, GT4 will be perfect. If it was like a month, it'd be SNES and Dragon Quest V.

Music - Probably my favorite collection disc of Bach, "Bach for Dummies". :D I was thinking about Jack Johnson or something, but if I listened to it repeatedly for a year, I'll probably lose my mind.

DVD - As a huge movie freak, this one is a torture. :indiff: I'd have to go with whatever movie I was in the mood for when it happens. Right now, it would be "Seven Samurai" by Kurosawa........ wait! no, "Pulp Fiction"! Can I make it a TV Series? "Northern Exposure Season One". You get the idea.

Out of all people, I didn't expect this from you :lol:.

Console: PS2
Game: GTA: SA
CD: One of my burnt CD's or my MP3 Player
Movie: The Fast And The Furious (Obviously I don't own many movies :lol: )
 
Since there will be NO INTERNET, these would probably be my choices.

consol: PS2

game: GTA:SA (has just about everything you could want in a game and the side missions could keep you busy for over a year)

cd: Pantera: Far Beyond Driven

movie: Bad Boyz 2

CD: Initial D :second stage

You mean the live action one? I've heard bad things about that movie. Plus, live action Initial D sounds kinda cheezy to me.
