While it is known that members of the Polyphony Digital staff visit GT Planet on occasion, none of them have ever made themselves known to us. And if they did, we wouldn't be at liberty to tell you. If and when they come, they do so as unregistered guests.

You haven't got one of these gadgets I guess ;).

I texted Kazunori Yamauchi the other night.

Welsh-Fury: I gotz a X2010!1!!11one :D

Kazunori Yamauchi: I'm sitting in one noob.

That's like asking for Obama's email address. No one knows, and if you somehow found it out, you wouldn't be added or anything.

It's pretty plain to me that Kaz has NEVER played GT5 like you and I have to. He got the dupers' dream from Day 1 - an unlocked game save with every car, every upgrade free, and every track and event unlocked. Developer's privilege you might say...

BUT.... it may also be the reason why this game was shipped so messed up. Let's face it, if Kaz had had to endure the grinding and illogic of this game's progression structure, do you think all he would have come up with is the odd seasonal to 'fix' the issue?

Do you think that, if he played the game the same way you and I have to, he would be happy that half of the reward cars can ONLY be got by doing B-Spec races twice as long (and half as fun) as A-Spec races?

No, I'm sorry to say, but, to me at least, it's obvious Kaz has NEVER 'played the game'. He MIGHT go anonymously online from time to time, but even that, I think, is more likely him playing private lobbies against personal friends or fellow developers. Or, once again, the nerfed-up nature of the online system might have got a fix by now.

Kaz is driving REAL race cars, and couldn't give a TOSS about playing a game with anybody... :ouch:
