What video card should I get for Vista?

Well, I am getting a new computer to run Windows Vista, and I am a bit stumped on what video card I should get. The budget is around $100 - $130.

Currently, I'm considering the XFX 7600GT, the Sapphire 1900GT, and the Sapphire X1950GT.

The problem is, I am pretty clueless when it comes to ATi graphics cards. So, which card offers the best performance and stability with Vista for the money?

I'd say the X1900. The 1950 costs a little more, but is a little slower. The 7600GT is blown away by both, at least in 3dMark '06.

Both ATis are the best performers there, by far.

But, having helped setup a PC with a 7600GT in it the other day, the card runs Vista perfectly.

Lol it's all good.

I'm sure you'll be more than happy with the card.

I'm not much of an ATI fan, but maybe the R600 will change that.

How about AMD? They're in a rut with Intel's C2D obliterating their top processors... and they just bought out ATI. Better hope K10 brings something to knock Intel on their asses... just a thought.

I would say wait at least a year, once the next breed of DX10 cards are out, also there is no need to move to Vista right away in my view.
