Interesting, I have looked on the web, and have been unable to find a car that looks like the ZZII under the RS01 name. I do see the ASL Garaiya though.

If you have any more info on it, I would love to see it. Nice pic, looks like a real car, lol.
The ZZ-II is very real, the concept version appeared in GT2, the production vesion is as seen in GT3 and 4, you're given a choice of 2wd or 4wd both using the same engine pushing 550Bhp.

heres a scan of an old old article.

sorry the of topic guys ;)

The ONLY mid engined Ruf in GT4 is the 3400S the rest are rear engined so as good as they are, they have nothing to do with this thread.

Peugeot 205 T16 and Ford RS200. light car, turbocharged engine in the middle and AWD.. first one is for sideways fun, the latter is for proper driving.

The R390 GT1 road car with a spoiler is a beautiful drive; it very much isn't a road machine at all, but a JGTC 300 entrant without decals...

Agree with HondaRacer about the Proto at the Nur, but that's what makes it so fun... Crazy drifts. :D:tup:

Mazda RX-8

Actually, the Tank car IS Mid-Engine, as is the RX-8, as the engine is located BEHIND the front axle, and in front of the rear axle, making it a mid-engine car.

Hmm...think I'll have to have a top 3 because I can't decide

Toyota MR2 GT-S '97 (think this is MR...I wish they'd put in the model with the T-Top sunroof already)
Lotus Type 72
Mazda RX-8

I can't decide between these 3

Lotus Elise 190
Lotus Esprit V8
Lancia Stratos

All 3 look great, and are fantastic fun to drive.

FireEmblem62 - doesn't a car have to have its engine mounted behind the driver, not the front axle, for it to be classed as Mid engined? I thought lots of cars have engines behind the front axle but were classed as front engined still?

Nope. The car is classified as a front-mid engine. So is the Ferrari 612 Scagletti(sp)

For me, its the Cadillac Cien and the Acura HSC both all done up. Ford GT is good too, but its braking performance isn't terribly good....

Or the NSX-R, its fast too.

Fave is the S7, sticks like glue to road and braking power second to none, not to mention 580+ horses under the hood.

notable mentions: Spirra, Lotus Elise 111R, Honda NSX-R '01, Lotus Esprit 350 GT, Ford GT, ZZII, Zonda C12S.

Strange the S7 is the best out of the production MR cars, and it has no adjustable downforce. Can't wait to see if they include the S7TT, both hp versions and the S7R, can't wait to do the 24 LeMans in the S7R.

Yeah they should've included the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, that will blow the doors off other cars....even in real life Saleen makes better cars than the Lambos and the Ferraris, not to mention Pagansis and other overpriced (in life) supercar makers! What creature comfort does Enzo offer? What about S7? And it S7 can match the acceleration of Enzo to 60, while having leather, TV, Nav and AC!! Saleen rule!

Oh yeah, I have to add in The Amsterdammer, AKA The Spyker C8, I don't care if it handels like a pig, i love it.
