Why Does my Hybrid go backwards?

I am making my first hybrid so please bare with me.
i am making a toms 540 chaser and it looks great its got 43xx horsepower and shine. But when I try to drive it, it goes 20 mph or so in reverse!!!

It's been known to happen on occasion. You wait until you hit the reverse button...

Just go to Settings, Transmission and change every gear ratio one click left, then one click right - including Final and Auto. That will fix it.

I didn't make this car, but when you start it off, it goes in reverse until you shift into 2nd gear. It actually went around 50 mph in reverse. I tried actually driving it round backwards, but I didn't get very far....

Either the transmission wasn't done

Or you were unlucky and the reverse gear had some crazy ratio
