I ran a 5:55.607 world record keeps getting faster!

Just for laughs I tried a time attack lap, with my NISMO GTR'17 and achieved this, not sure how you got such a quick time to the OP. I am not fast time attack driver by any means, but i was blitzing the GTR, and the nurburgring gives me bunyuns & headaches all year round, but what a track and car!!! lol.

FYI i am also a controller user and No assists, only use weak ABS!

OP doesn't claim the car is stock, just that there has been no engine swap, which may explain why they have a sub-6 minute time.

And as far as the claim goes, to the best of my knowledge there are no "world records" for driving any car around any track in game, and I couldn't find a site (official or otherwise) for tracking times and the game itself doesn't show global times outside of time trials.

Go drive a Nismo GT-R around the Nurb, post your video here and as far as we're concerned, until OP posts a video of them doing it in the exact same car with the exact same setup/tune, you'd have a more worthy claim to a "world record".

Well put Zero2OB but I'm not really claiming anything or any record, just wanted to try it for the fun, remember FUN??? lol.

I would though like to seee the OP's video of his lap to understand what I'm doing slow by any chance lol. I have my replay to show anytime of my run if anyone is curiosu to see, and that was my only 2nd lap on the Nurburgring on that run lap.

I'm sure with some practice I could trash a sub 6min time in the my supagoldy 911 GT3 RS around the nordschelife.

you can also directly share the replay via PS5, it will be available to watch ingame, just add some tags like #gtp #nurbwr so we can find it easily

Yeah sorry.... a "voor"... was a typo from me, it's dutch for "for" 😂 😂

Yeah, it'd be the same as the speed running communities do - have one "officially" recognized site for the game, and if you want to submit a time for the leaderboard, you'd submit a recording. For GT7, any recordings would also have to include a pre-run car setup section to show the car is in stock from aka there is no advantage gained by better tuning. Once the recording has been verified, the time gets added to the leaderboard.

Hey! How's uploading the recording going? Should be as simple as sticking a USB stick in to the console, copying it over via the console media menu and uploading it.

I don't know about any world records, but tried this combo and some different tunes with a PB of 5:54. This thing is fast! I may have set the anti roll bars too stiff and it's a bit bouncy... the ride height needs to be raised for softer suspension imo.

Wideboy with wide wheels, standard offset, 20"
PS4, DS4, only ABS

I suspect the real forum aliens will easily smash this time 😅 👽

Well done @ikon_313, so much for OP's world record, I know from personal experience that you are fast and know your way around tuning sheets, but no doubt aliens from TT thread could improve upon your lap time.

I did, slightly but surely, mow the lawn on 2 or 3 occasions. Need to do another cleaner run as soon as I figured out how to make the car less bouncy (it does look fast forwarded in the quick sectors).
