Welcome, to the World Touring Car Championship. This series will run on Sundays at 10:00am PST / 1:00pm EST / 6:00pm UTC. We'll follow the same basic race format as the 2020 WTCR series (one 55km race and one 62km race), however we'll run our own qualifying format as theirs is a bit confusing and not really suited to an online series like this. Instead we will run a 10 minute qualifier for race 1, and do reverse grid for race 2. Tuning allowed, grippy tires and low tire wear should make this enjoyable without having to worry about late race understeer.

The championship schedule will consist of six points rounds with two races each. Mid-season will bring a special event with bonus points on offer. A separate thread will be posted for this event with invites to non-championship runners to attend.

See mandatory sponsor examples below. Please keep liveries respectful and pleasing to the eye. Chrome paint OK on car body in moderation. Wheels must be 5-lug type, no chrome.
