XBOX 360 sound problem

Hey guys

I bought a brand new 360 Elite yesterday but it came with no HD cable so i plugged my HDMI from my PS3 into it and all was well. Then, after using my PS3 for a while, i plugged it back into the 360 and now, every 5-10-15 seconds or so, the sound just cuts out for a second then comes back on. This is really annoying. Does anyone know what is wrong? Is it the system? Or some sort of incompatible issue? The HDMI cable works fine in the PS3. Im new to the world of 360 so i wouldnt know so any help would be great.

Got a feeling it's a power saving problem with your TV. It's happened to quite a few people using the HDMI cable and an Elite. Basically you need to switch your 360 on first and then your 360. I think it was most common with Samsung TV's.

But you said i need to switch my 360 on first an then my 360 :D . Is that 360 first then TV? or the other way round?
