I am creating this thread because tonight has been the first night I successfully played GT4 Online. I played with a guy from Michigan and Pennsylvania using Xlink. At first Ryen and I tried to set things up but he was having technical difficulties, sorry next time.
The level of fun just went up !!!
There is alot of potential for online battles where at least one of the drivers has a video capture card and can capture the drift battles. Or the we can set up a three player session where the third person volunteers to record the battle (which I could do) I spent a good hour drifting with the guy from Pennsylvania. He needed more practice but non the less, it was FUN. The lag was there but playable. I captured some video of experience but since its late I will have to upload them tomorrow. I will added the links to this first thread when they are ready.
The purpose of this thread is to open discussions about Xlink for playing GT4 Online. I know another thread is there in the GT4 forum, but this one wll caiter more to drifting and setting up drift sessions for practicing and meets. My Xtag is BreakerOhio, so if you already are on Xlink and want to find more people to connect with, lets start discussions here. 👍
Here are some clips put together of the races that we had.

It was real close. My first race was the Midfield race where it was back to back between the Amuse S2000's. At the end I pulled it off with a draft and won by .02 secs. The other driftier is no one on this forum, I don't think. I just started doing it and then we agreed to try drifting in tandum.
