ZOMBIES INFEST NEW MMO TITLE
A new MMO based on the zombie horror genre for mature audiences only, says company TMSGames
The zombies are coming! The zombies are coming! TMSGames, a division of Thinking Man Studios, has ripped the face off Exanimus, a PC MMO based on the zombie horror genre.
Exanimus is actually being created by the Rotten Corpse team from TMSGames, and is billed as an "online massively multiplayer game created in a world where the dead live and roam the earth eating the flesh of the living". The game lets players either slip into human skin or run amok as one of many undead, flesh-eating monstrosities roaming the planet. So the story goes, most of the world is dead (or undead, we guess), but a handful of human survivors are managing to hold out in barricaded-up cities around the globe.
"Exanimus will allow players to experience a MMO based in a horror genre by creating a dark and visually 'intense' environment," says TMSGames, adding that it's fully expecting the game to be rated 'Mature' and that it's not intended for anyone under the age of 18.
The developer continues: "Exanimus is currently in pre-production, but we are working right now to build our website for everyone to visit and learn more about our game. It is our hope to integrate our community heavily in the development of the game, so we invite everyone to keep checking in for news and updates. We have many surprises in store and hope everyone will be as excited as we are for this new type of MMO."
Exanimus' official website currently features an FAQ which provides a few more details on the title, but not much else at this time.
