Forza Horizon 4 to Add Vuhl 05 in Series 37

Playground Games has revealed on social media that the Vuhl 05 will be making its FH4 debut in the next update.

The information comes via a traditional source: the announcement for the next Forza Monthly schedule. These streams pop up once every four weeks to let fans know what’s coming in the next update, and contain a detail image of a vehicle to whet the appetite.

Playground will stream this month’s Forza Monthly for Series 37 this coming Monday, June 28, at a slightly earlier time than usual of 1700 UTC. As you can see from the detail shot, the Vuhl 05 is part of the plan for the Series 37 update.

A second version of the teaser, posted on Instagram, shows a different angle of the car — looking back at the distinctive underhanging rear wing — further confirming the Vuhl’s identity.

If you’re not familiar with the Vuhl 05, it’s a road-legal track day special, sporting a hybrid aluminum-carbon monocoque weighing in at just over 1,400lb. Power comes from a 2.3-liter Ford EcoBoost engine, rated at up to 385hp, with a six-speed sequential transmission sending it all to the back wheels.

It’s a pretty appropriate car for PG to add to Forza Horizon 4 right now, following on from the reveal of Forza Horizon 5 and its setting in Mexico. Vuhl is a Mexican company, and the final production version of the car was unveiled at the Race of Champions in Mexico City in 2019.

In fact, Vuhl is headquartered about 70 miles east of the FH5 main city of Guanajuato, and that leads into an interesting secondary teaser from earlier in the week.

The Forza Horizon Twitter account posted this image of the famous office whiteboard on June 23, and it seems to tie into the Vuhl reveal. A compass on the board shows Guanajuato to the north and a tick mark to the east — which would broadly lead you to Vuhl’s HQ in Queretaro.

Interestingly, the board also contains a note about the definition of the word “soon”. This could imply that we may see the Super7 High Stakes mode arrive this month too, as this bears a “Coming Soon” label in-game.

Of course we’ll have to tune in on Monday June 28 to find out for sure, and there will likely be other cars heading along in the Series 37 update too.
