GT Sport Daily Races: FIA Practice and Sports in Miniature

Tradition returns to the Daily Races selection this week, with some very familiar formats — even if all three races feature add-on content.

That starts with the car for Race A. This is the Honda S800, added by the most recent update a couple of weeks back, and specially provided for this event. It’s in a more traditional location though, with the action taking place on the short course at Suzuka East. You’ll have five laps to take the win, on Sports Hard tires.

For the other two races it’s the tracks that are DLC, while the cars — or at least the car classes — that are more of a return to GT Sport’s roots. Race B gives you the chance to take any of your Gr.4 cars on a race around Autopolis, echoing an FIA Manufacturer Series race from just last week. It’s a simpler affair than the FIA race, with four laps in any of your garage cars, and on Racing Hard tires.

Race C, with its tire wear and fuel use, gives more of an FIA feel. Indeed the combination — Gr.3 cars at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya — will be an event in the Manufacturer Series next month.

All three races will run through to Monday, August 19.
