Group B

You may recall in my previous piece, that I described the Group B cars in DiRT Rally 2.0 as “utterly terrifying” — and for good reason. Before I get onto that, I want to take you back to Group B in the original game.

This week’s Wednesday Want once again zeros in on one of our favorite automotive genres, Group B rally cars. In the past, we’ve showcased the Porsche 959, Peugeot 205 T16, and the Toyota 222D. Now joining that list is the MG Metro 6R4.

In previous Wants, we’ve covered some of the greats from Group B. These include the Peugeot 205 T16 and the Toyota 222D. Now joining that list is another legendary rally machine, the Porsche 959 Paris Dakar.
