We could attract literally thousands of more members by having a motorbike forum? Then letting it develop into sub forums, MotoGP, Road Bikes, Tuning, Scooters and Mopeds etc.. etc..?

:smilewink

Oh yea and is the :gtp: homepage getting a makeover because it indicates that the forums are all :gt: which can't be good for attracting new members that could post in the other categories?

You'll find a motorbike forum on GTP5, but it won't be promoted heavily on the front page. People visiting the main site are interested in Gran Turismo information, no matter how they got there, and they are much more likely to visit a forum if they know it will be about Gran Turismo as well. I would rather GTP be the best at one thing (Gran Turismo) than lackluster in everything.

that's the motorsport forum, you wouldn't be fobbing me off now would you Jordan?

Well, you can put topics there.

That's the "other racing" forum. I included "MotoGP" in the forum description on the home page to encourage motorcycle discussion there.

Ah but not all motorcycling is racing

so we surely need a dedicated forum?

Plus say members don't read the forum descriptions and only the Forum Jump...if they happen to be into motorcycling, nothings going to catch there eye to talk about it?

I don't know if there is enough support here to justify a non-racing motorcycle forum. I would like to be proved wrong, but that's just the impression that I have now.

I don't "need" a motorcycle specific forum...
