Is this a new worldrecord? How can it ever be possible.....
i don't trust any possible releasedate anymore untill i got that DAMN :banghead:
game in my hands..............it's almost making me not wanting this piece of f*#$ game....

I thougth we'd all already agreed it wouldn't be until 2006 that we even see advertising for this?

I am kinda now getting fedup of waiting for it...........it really is getting OLD! I am usually a very patient person.......but everyone has waited ages for it and it just keeps on getting pushed back........this game better be the best bloody game in the universe!........ :grumpy: :ouch:

it's already been delayed around 14 months in total..................and we all know that we are waiting for it just a LITTLE bit longer than 14 months :yuck:

Proud to be a BRONZE MEMBER!!! Finally!!!

You guys are unbelievable.

GT4 has NEVER slipped. Not once, not at all.

One single solitary time frame has been given. NOVEMBER. The ONLY time frame officially released. SCEE never said GT4 would be out in 2003 or April 2004 or, June, or any other time. You guys are just unbelievable. Since when is GameStop or rumours_for_newbies_and_the_clueless.com "official"? It's not.

Whenever PD or KY or SCEE come out and officially announce that GT4 will not be out in November _THEN_ you can say it has been delayed, and ONLY then. That has not happened, so the game has not slipped. ever. Period.

That being said, I still expect a slip, as I have said many times already. This is speculation on my part, entirely based on the fact that November is the first official time frame, and since very few games are released exactly on schedule, November is unlikely.

Except of course HalfLife 2, which is way ahead of schedule. (ha ha)

Yea waiting for DoomIII have taught me that release dates mean about zero. Doom was planned to be realeased in 2003 and then April of 2004.....to bad they pushed it back till "pending"...and never came out with a offical release date until july, 23 and the game came out on the 3rd of august. So we will know for sure about 3 to 4 weeks before the game hits the selves in Japan.

There is always a good news beside the bad one.

The news is true, and it is a bad news. Good news is:

- GT4 will come bundled with ALL NEW DESIGNED PS2 - I can't post the pictures yet, I'll post them as soon my Source allowes me to do it - and the new PS2 looks LIKE PHUCKN ELLE McPHERSON IN HER BEST PHUCKN DAYS.

It is way slimmer then the old one, it it smaller, it has black-chromed stripe with carved PS2 logo on it, it has all the ports on that small, small body (controller, mc, 2 USB's, evrn the remote controller port) and it has got an ethernet adapter BUILT IN. Button layout has changed, and I can't even see where the drawer is, because there is no standard drawer-carves on it. But, from what I can tell, there is no slot-loader. It comes with slick stand for vertical displaying.

New PS2 (and it will not be called PStwo, as it is speculated all over the net in past few days) is even slimmer then the section with air-vents on old PS2. Look that and try to imagine PS2 srinked to that size. It is 20% lower and 20% less deep in width. It looks unphucknbelievable.

It is stunning piece of machine. Even better news is: it will cost as PS2 costs today. In Europe it is about 140 euros. In USA it will be even cheaper (don not blame yourselfs Europeans for your welthiness in contrary to American people). It will come out in Japan in next few months, bundeled with all the killer-apes for next season, and GT4 bundle will come as last one. European and American release still have to be confirmed.

So, prepare to kiss your old PS2 for the last time - Buckle up your seats Dorothy, because Kansas is going bye, bye.

lol, pathetic.
"juvenile". the only thing that sounds like a "juvenile" fool here is you, who cares about your "hot date" here?. and just how are computer games "juvenile" there's PLENTLY of grown men playing games, and besides, GT4 isn't even a game.. it's a simulator O_o.

Anywho, people.. don't jump to conclusions, TGS starts this friday. wait for official info then.

As an imature man of 37 years that likes PC and PS2 games (er, I mean simulators), may I ask what TGS is and where I can find info on it. Although I'm guessing I don't have to bother looking, as all relavent information to GT4 will be posted in this forum anyway.

Amar212, I hope your report of a new PS2 is accurate. I sold the noisy PS2 that I bought to play GT3 when it was released, with the intention of buying a new quitet PS2 with GT4. It would be a real nice bouns to get a even newer PS2 with GT4 than expected.

ive heard about the redesigned ps2 as well, and i heard about the built in ethernet port, and its size, my question is then, where the hell does the harddrive go!?

where did you get this info

i reckon we'll end up getting this game march/april 2005 or something

In this case Kazunori would have lied in an interview for the german "OPM" (Official Playstation Mag).

He said he is sure that people who drove on the virtual "Nordschleife" will be able to improve their "Real-Life-Times" when the next season at the Nürburgring begins. And that will be March !!!

But that would still be a desaster !

We all know about the tradition of the older GT-Parts being delayed. I still remember me talking to my girlfriend in December 2003 and telling her, that i will need a timeout of at least 2 Weeks in February. :)

That´s pretty long ago !

I think it´s no longer funny to disappoint the fans of GT !

But until official announcement i will copy all this into the "roumors"-folder !

Since this thread has no hope of staying on topic, and it's all rumor at this point,
