Probably because Mr. L. is a very private man, and that the guy he lets take the photographs of his car probably has no interest in talking on a game forum.I don't see him posting here though![]()

If you want to see his photos, Nthfinity on FChat has a thread dedicated to him (and is the photographer I just mentioned).

Well, there's something I didn't know.I have spent quite a bit of time playing games like GT4, GTR, GTR 2, GTL, Forza, PGR 2/ 4, NFS Porsche Unleashed, 355 Challenge... and as it turns out, I am registered here... although, I can't say I recall when and why haha
I'm certainly not the most hardcore sim racer out there, but I tend to think I'm above average![]()
No, but I will admit that I learned about his collection through your photos and info. I find his collection very, very fascinating, esp. at the fact that he's made it very diverse. It's one of those collections that mixes the exotics will your usual cars, and that's something I can respect. Mr. L's collection is a perfect example that you don't have to just collect expensive cars to have a great collection. Thanks to linking to me McLaren... do you know Mr. L? the number of cars he has keeps growing, I think its getting close to 130 now!
It is pretty crazy how I met him, and everything that has happened since then... I thought it was pretty amazing that he had 13 cars at that time, with his CGT getting close to being delivered...
You are right when you characterize him as a private man, who enjoys his anonymity... but meet him at a car show, (or in the wild) and strike a chord, he'll invite you to his garage. With the exceptions of his cars, he leads a very unassuming life.
Agreed on that. It really comes down to opinion of people's favorites, and it's just my opinion that Mr. L's garage is one I consider near the top of amazing. There are people with bigger collections, and perhaps some might say "more variety" but in the end, each collector is different... and he makes the effort to drive each car... in the end, some stand out as 'favorites."
Well, there's something I didn't know.
Most folks on FChat besides the teenagers don't strike me as gamers.

BTW, I have 2 questions. 1, where's the Diablo?!And 2, has he found a F50 yet?
the galaxie i think is a '65
Yeah, I've heard about the Reventon. No Diablo, but there is a Reventon that is coming this summer. It's hard to say, but I don't think that he'll be buying any Diablo's his first lambo was the dark charcoal blue Murcielago that he bought in mid 2004.
Nice. I expect you'll be keeping us updated on FChat when he gets both in, yes?As to the F50, yes and no... in any case, I think there is one lined up to be in his garage before the end of summer 2008... and hopefully his 959 is finished too.
Yeah, I've heard about the Reventon. But, a collection like that, no Diablo? Countach? Not even a Miura?
Different tastes I guess.

...... and I think he's a little paranoid about anything happening to them.
