THE CAR LIST HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
Please follow this link to see the car list. I have it in HTML and excel for easy editing. I will try to update the list every night. If you find a mistake in the car list, please let me know via PM B-spec Bob (your B-spec driver) has finally gathered up enough spare cash to buy his own car, instead of taking the bus to work everyday... Yes he drives million dollar sports cars everyday at work, but after work he is a struggling guy like the rest of us. His lifes ambition is to drag race street cars against other street racers. We'll go out and buy a car, then take it to the Las Vegas strip to race. The maximum amount of cash you can spend is $ 30,000. See more rules below This is a test, and a challenge to all you other people, and your B-spec drivers. (no the b-spec driver cannot race on the Las Vegas strip, we are just pretending here) Rules 1.) All you have to spend is 30,000 bux (NTSC american version cash) not a penny more. Be careful of your car cost, and the components you buy. Note: You must buy a new or used car for B-Spec Bob. His boss (YOU) will not lend him any cars that YOU won. 2.) Since your "character" has access to garages, tools, and skilled labour the following things are free: - Full suspension customization - Full transmission customization - Full limited-slip customization - Although you need to pay for these items in game, the money you spend does not count towards the 30k total 3.) Race the car at the Las-Vegas strip 4.) Show the cost of the car, full name, distance driven, and horsepower 5.) Show the cost of your customizations to show that you did not go over 30,000 bux. 6.) Show final power/weight ratio 7.) Show gear ratio's and other modifications for your best time. 8.) Rims are free if you want them 9.) Wings are not free, and count towards your 30k limit 10.) You can purchase another car and upgrades for 30k if you have had enough of your current car. But please try to tune it up first, before you ditch it for the next one. My Car: Skyline GT-R Vspec (R33) '95 (bought from the used car lot) (4wd) - Default tires that it came with: Sports (medium) I had no extra cash to buy better tires. - 324 HP after oil change Cost: $ 18,514 Km's: 70,482.70 km Modifications Stage 1 weight reduction : $ 1,200 Racing intercooler $ 3,000 Racing chip $1,500 Exhaust $ 4,800 Oil Change $ 50 Total Spent: - $ 29,064 Free items: - Full transmission customization - Full suspension customization - Full limited slip customization After Modifications: - Power/Weight Ratio: 3.463 - Horsepower: 391 HP - Weight: 1355 KG My 1/4 mile time: 12.441 seconds / Edit 12.418 now / Everything is at default sofar. Once I start tuning Bob's car he might get faster. So a time of 12.4 seconds is pretty good. If I had a car like that in real life I would be a very happy man. So show me what you can do with your 30k, share tuning tips, is it possible to get a 10 second car with 30k? **Times** All times and people are in this database. http://vixed.com/gt4.html - HTML version for viewing Last updated November 26, 2005 **Editing** Post cleaned up to look better

I'll submit a car + time in a few minutes but I'm just checking one thing out. We aren't allowed Nitrous are we? I hope not because it seems a bit cheap. I know it is widely used in drag racing circles but I don't think it should be allowed.
Just my two cents Volred, either that or have a section for cars running Nitrous and one without. |

you should also have one for 25k, 50k, 75k, and 100k to make it more interesting (maybe even 15 or 20k
)

1 question, do rims and or wing, do they count towards the 30K ??

In summary. If you have NOS please post both times.
Larry can get you another 30k to spend on another car package. But you might end up with broken legs one day. Oh well they make cars where you can accelerate and brake with your hands.
And for the wing. I think it will affect your race time, so it goes towards your 30k.
