No I have heard of those, but look at FR cars in their cost range...
compare performance....
Their 1/4 mile times are nothing to be impressed by.

Look at my previous post and you'll see that I agreed with you.

Although the heavyweights aren't that impressive in the 1/4 mile category, I've seen videos of Civics running 10's and 9's. Somehow I doubt any Civic in GT4 can run 9's.

While my 1984 Oldsmobile Toronado probably ran 17's at 80 mph, it was a dang comfortable car that would knock any little Civic out of its way.

GTrackd02, sorry for the off topic, but your car sounds fantastic. Being stuck here in england, i don't get to see any kind of muscle very often, and my god, what a noise.
as a question, i noticed your 8 is a 281 cu in? whats that in good old litres?
Thanks for the compliment, as semvhu stated its 4.6l of fury!!!!

I love the sound, but also hate it.....
On the road at about 70mph you cannot hardly talk to someone next to you..
But at the same time, when i am by myself, i love to just hear it!....

Oh and GImme a TVR over the stang anyday.....

boomboy....... that is a great time for your first run.

but my calculations show that you have a grand total of $ 30,072? also did you change the oil in the car? it only cost $50 to do it and it usually gives your car an extra 10 and 50hp.

Why? Well, gee... you are carrying an _explosive device_ at very high speeds. It's amazing to me that these things are legal to carry on the street.

Um, nitrous isn't even flammable, much less explosive.

It's extremely flammable. How do you think it would have been any use in the engine if it ain't doing anything else than lower the explosion pressure.

I have filled enough nitrous bottles to know it has a non-flammable sticker right on it.

It lowers the intake mixture temperture to create a more dense air fuel mixture. Hense more air/fuel in the same space=bigger bang.
