is the Man From Amsterdam
|
Just came across this thread now! Didnt know it was here but wanted to share what I had seen in the last couple of months...
![]() This is a couple of pics of a GTR before it was officially released here... Its been filled with stickers because it was used in a Time Attack competition in the Pro Street category with Tom Coronel as the driver... same driver that set the Ring record in the ACR Viper... I saw this car while I was coming back from break, cruising around the parking lot at my work. The man inside was from a Nissan dealer and coming to visit Compuware (Sponsor maybe??) The GTR was imported by Nissan High Performance Center Visscher here in Amsterdam.![]() I know Im cheesing... I was happy to finally see one.. ![]() ![]() Little clip of GTR The next little clip I have is of a Wiesmann GT I believe? I'm not sure which one it is... but I saw it when me and a buddy were on our way to The Hague.... Damn nice looking ride! ![]() Clip of Wiesmann

One entered the Oulton Park round last year, apperently it was pretty easy to get past although they couldnt get toyo R888's to fit it only T1R's, so not too worried.
For a standard car it did pretty well, fairly safe to say that a GT-R modified to the same standard/level as the Time Attack UK front-runners would smash lap records, if not storm the entire championship. I imagine something as simple as some R888s would make it pretty potent around most Time Attack UK locations. |

That was the RC Developments car (The guys with the DayGlo Evos).

I'd be happy to see any Skyline at least.. I once saw an R32 and an R33 in England when I was on class trip.. Other that that there were many Rolls Royce's and Ferrari's, but here, where I live, there aren't such expensive cars to be seen
..In case you don't know what a Cobalt is, it's a little four-cylinder car that to me is ugly, but this dude I mentioned earlier thinks they're good-looking. Think your small cars, but half as fun to drive and half as refined. Still waiting for that festival and car show! |
