Live from China today and tomorrow, from 12 noon GMT - Nations Cup today, Race of Champions tomorrow.

Can anyone confirm whether one of the racing cars used are VW Sciroccos or Opel Astras?

The Norwegian commentator keeps saying it's a Scirocco racer, but I'd bet all my money that that is an Astra chassis...

There's the Solution F, which is based on the Astra, and some Scirocco racers as well. Unfortunately, they've been going 2 hours and broken almost all the cars...

Vettel single handedly saved it for Germany, but only after a mistake from Pastrana. Germany vs GB in the final.

What Schuey did in his last run seemed like the fastest time I'd seen so far, but Priaulx was up on par with him.

Haha, Ekström carrying Schumi on his back! Congrats, Ekki! Too bad the rally drivers were weak this year, maybe the track played a role since it's faster than the previous tracks. Tanner Foust was a small surprise to me, he did really well.

Have they fixed the cars?

I watched some of it last night and it looked like a proper crash fest

That is a good team, but why did they choose them, all I have heard from them this year is when they won Silver and Bronze at the X-games in Rally Car this year, I would have had Kenny Brack over either one of those two if that is what it was based on.
