im just wondering if anyone know anything about the xcm f-1 converter? im thinking of buying a steering wheel but its only compatible with pc/ps3 and im on the xbox 360... i know it supports the g25 and g27 but im looking at the porsche 911 carrera wheel. i would be very grateful for any help

First off, don't get the 911 Carrera wheel, it's PS3 and PC only.

Put simply, it's a device that allows you to use PS3/PC wheels such as the G25, G27, or DFGT on the XBOX, which has no support for these wheels, and pretty much only supports the likes of the Fanatec GT2 or CSR wheels. I use a G25 w/ XCM F1 converter mainly because I have both an XBOX 360 and PS3, and use both for driving games. Another option could be using a Fanatec GT2, which supports both the PS3 and XBOX 360,, which is the one I'd recommend (I know it's $250US, but it's worth it). You will need to get pedals as accessories though, for some reason they don't come with the wheel itself. The next step up would be the CSR Elite, but that isn't completely released yet. Trust me, read the details before you buy, that 911 Carrera isn't going to get you anywhere if you just use an XBOX.

Inside sime racing made a good review, unfortunately seems the FFB doesn't exactly feel the same, anyway watch the video:

As he said, the 911 Carrera is for PC / PS3 only - Forza, however, is a title exclusive to the 360. Further information can be found here. I'd advise you to either get the CSR or GT2 wheel, too. The GT3RS is great as well but, yet again, not compatible with your 360.

GTP has, however, a forum solely dedicated to sim racing hardware and people tend to reply faster over there. I'm actually sure the converter has been covered quite a few times, so a quick search should answer most, if not all, of your questions.

i understand that this is only for pc and ps3, my question is if anyone knows if the xcm-f1 converter can make the carrera wheel work with xbox360
