This car is stumping me ive tried many different tunes and my best time is a 9.381 and i know they run alot better.

That is a pretty drastic difference off the top times. I would make sure you are full broke in, fully up'd, and running a manual tranny under 180 mph.

-One time I missed upgrading to the carbon fiber drive shaft and it was killing my time by 0.070 secs.

Wow, that's a big diff. I spent about 20 minutes last week confused at how I couldn't seem to tune a ford gt no stripe correct until I noticed I forgot to buy the lightweight windows (a mere 5 or 10kg saving)? which was killing my time by 0.030 !!

thanks I will check I was trying it with the chrome line one but I just bought another so i will do it on this one.

yeah there was a major difference I just did mine again and got it down to 9.156 it didn't have any wieght reduction and wasn't broken in. Thanks again I never realized wieght reduction did that much.

Ofcourse! As I said, a 10kg saving (lightweight windows) alone saved me 0.030s. Also, I remember when I had a Ford GT No Stripe with around 8000 miles. It was missing one bhp, and when I finally sourced a low miles No Stipe, that extra 1bhp with the same tune was worth around 0.004s.

It's crazy how much very minor things make a big difference. (I mean obviously a few miliseconds is nothing in reality, and even a hundredth (or two) of a second probably would be noticeable online, but for leaderboard submissions, it can be the difference between 5-10 places).
