Question: Unable to Put Decals on Certain Surfaces

-> I recently created a circa '85-'91 Philippine license plate like this one:

^ I tend to install it on certain parts of the car (front and rear bumper). But these decals wont apply on the following surfaces:

- Plastic (ie. Nissan 240Z 432 '69)
- Chrome (ie. Pontiac GTO '65)
- Mesh (ie. certain sports & race cars)

-> Why is that!? Thanks a bunch guys! :)
 
Turn10 locked out certain parts of cars based on the materials they had to render in-game.

So some chrome and plastic surfaces are just out of bounds for decals, sadly.

The worst car for this is the Audi R18, absolute nightmare to paint :(
