I dont think I have seen this posted yet, multi angle video of the F2007 on Suzuka.

Its so beautiful.

I can't wait to drive that.

You can still see the curbs etc through the LCD on the steering wheel though :irked:

Thanks MildAshers / jweaver..

All the videos I have seen yet, of the F2007 are at the Suzuka.
It's quite a shame, as the F2007 never really made it to Suzuka, as last year's Japanese Grand Prix was in Fuji! :) (Hint Hint :p , if some one captures that and drives as well as in this vid, may be we can compare times with last years' Kimi's fastest lap on it..)

Just a thought! ;)

Didn't it rain at Fuji last year during the race? That should give us a chance to beat the fasted in-race laptime easily! :sly:

Of course a fairer comparison whould be to the practice times. :)

For me it seems to be too fast compared to real-world F1..

Look at the speed throu the slow esses before the long straight:
Its about 100 km/h !

I dont think this is the speed a real F1 could go at this part of the track...

Does anyone have a good quality (not Youtube) onboard F2007 video from Fuji in dry conditions?

I'd like to make a dualview game vs real life video comparison.

That guy had an lot of time on his hands lol, but yeah the car and the sound are amazing:tup:

Great video: the guy did a 1.36.184 outlap and a 1.35.935 flying lap. Last year Lewis Hamilton set the fastest lap at Fuji with a 1.28.193. So there is still room for improvement :dopey:

Last year Suzuka wasn't on the calendar.

And that 1.35.935 is now a 1.32.5 and I'm not anywhere near F2007 limits.

I see few turns he could do faster, What tyres he used in the video S2 or R3?
Once GT5 comes out, Ill put R5 (super soft) :) and maybe, MAYBE ill get 1:28.193
So I see GT5 is great Simulator even for F1 cars :) just few seconds behind NICE!

Yeah, great going by me, comparing a Suzuka race with a Fuji race :ouch:

This is more like it: Pole time at Suzuka in 2006 F. Massa Ferrari - 1:29.599

The tyres in 2006 were made of a better compound. But yeah, I think somewhere near that time is achievable. But not by me lol.

You can only use S2 in time trials. Everything else is stock.

Ha, this game is so ridiculous! Look at the video at about 37 seconds in and notice the friggen grass blowing away when the car drives by...

This is the best looking video game ever...

Let me go back to a past point before I talk about this video. Suzuka = boring? I still think Suzuka is a great world-class race track. So rewarding to win races at Suzuka. At least it's better than flying off the road at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Now back to the program.

This Ferrari YouTube video is incredible. I could almost imagine that instead of being John Marine, that I was Kimi Raikkonen. I still think F1 should race at Suzuka (or even Autopolis) for the Japanese Grand Prix rather than the dumbed-down Fuji, but I think it's a quality video. The F1 sound is pretty accurate to me based on F1 cars I've heard on TV. The car itself looks amazing. I could actually note the paddle shifting by the driver. It was pretty precise from what I've seen and heard. Well done finding this video.

Amazing...... (I think I wet my pants.... :indiff:)

JohnBM01: Don't worry, Suzuka will be back in 2009. ;)

lol the GT5 boys have got it right!!!

as you said a 1.29 in 2006 that woulda probably been a 1.27 or 1.28 in 2007 if they had been there

after watching this i think we can all agree they should have the license for the next F1 game! I want too excited about this car before but after that i am seriously contemplating going to italy and robbing the F1 car from maranello.

It'd be great if we see a White strip or white line on the R5 (super soft) tyres / tires :) ... That would be attention to detail (taken a step farther, lol).
