Ehh.. I'm not a Nick Hogan fan. He just comes off as too cocky from what I've seen. Maybe his Supra wreck knocked him down a couple notches. He certainly could afford to.

he's young and has never had a responsability. He's done absolutly nothing the rest of us would not have been doing in his shoes.
Put a 17 year old kid in the fastest car in town and it's gonna get wadded up. That's just common sense. Anyone who bashes a dumb kid for being a dumb kid is most likely a dumb kid.

Nick Hogan is an idiot who shouldn't be allowed to own a car. And no I'm not just some "dumb kid". I've done stupid things but I've never made a friend a vegetable while doing it, wreck a vehicle, or even come remotely close to going to jail.

===

That pick up truck in that video is fairly cool, I don't know I just can't seem to get into drifting.

Well good for you then.

Thing is, not everyone is you. Not everyone has "never made a friend a vegetable while doing it [being stupid], wreck a vehicle, or even come remotely close to going to jail."

I can't say that he's not a complete idiot (He is), but I have this strange feeling that putting one of his friends in a vegetative state must have knocked him down a bit in terms of stupidity.

Uhh I think most people have never done those things. At least the part about making one's friend a vegetable or going to jail. I'm sure numerous people have wrecked their vehicles while doing something stupid, or at least had numerous close calls. I really fail to see why the "good for you then" was even necessary, unless you are just trying to be an a**.

I have a strange feeling he is still and idiot and will always be an idiot since he more or less got let go with a slap on the wrist.

may the first of you who would not go fast in a supra at 17 throw the first stone.

His dad is the dumbass in this equasion. Ignorance is not evil.
It's expected in a 17 year old.

Most kids can't even begin to own a Supra at the age of 17, let alone be able to insure it. It's a moot point. I honestly can't believe you are pinning this solely on the parents.

When you get your license you need to accept responsibility for what you do behind the wheel. Seriously that kid shouldn't even be allowed to have a car because obviously he thinks of it as a toy.

Ignorance is acceptable and expected; arrogance is not. The kid grew up in arrogance and therefore that's what he knows. He's arrogant and irresponsible, and now he thinks he's a mad drifter after taking a few driving classes.

Personally, I think it goes to show how simple drifting is. I've never done it but maybe I should if all it takes to be good is some driving lessons and lots of power. Ken Block and Travis Pastrana, on the other hand, have grown up with the building blocks required in motorsport. They've got the inherent knowledge of physics and control. They grew up riding dirtbikes and skateboarding and snow boarding and whatnot. Knowing how those things work becomes part of you when you start young. That's why pretty much all the successful race drivers in history started young and did it by themselves, without any lessons. I don't think you can teach someone how to drive a racecar. I think it's learned, and that's why these guys can jump from sport to sport and get good quickly. They already know the main aspects, then they just need to learn the technical stuff.

But this guy is a hack. Yes, it's his parents' fault for raising him the way they did, and it's his fault for not taking control of the situation now that he's old enough to do so. He's going to go out there and make a fool of his bought-and-paid-for skills while the guys who have been doing it since they could spell it walk all over him.

Especially when he crashed the Mopar Viper twice.
