Rather than starting a thread about a single video and then a month later starting another thread about another vid I've found, I'm going to use this thread to post any vids that I've found and want to share with GTP and update the title as and when I need to.

Classic Daihatsu Midget video

Great little video showing the car we're all familiar with from Gran Turismo 4. It's been filmed really well to show lots of little details about the car, including the driver needing to double de-clutch for each gearchange.

Some of the "related videos" are worth a watch too if you like your classics and microcars like I do.

Awww, double-clutching. How cute!

That is awesome, I loved driving it in GT4. Hope to see more quality videos like this.

I'll try! I always keep my eyes peeled for something a bit out of the ordinary and the Midget vid seemed like a perfect start. I'd love to drive one myself, like you I really enjoy the car in GT4 but watching that vid makes it seem so much more of an experience - you just don't get the noise in GT4!

Toyota Team Europe Corolla G6

Unfortunately you can't hear the car in this vid as it has a soundtrack, but "Bombtrack" by RATM seems to go fairly well anyway so I won't complain too much! Looks like a fair bit of work has been done to this Euro-market Corolla and the test driver is certainly giving it a workout.

Wow, that 'Rolla is turning like it's on rails!
The rear is as steady as it can be, following the front wheels perfectly. Excellent work on that car, and a good driver to boot.

Great vid to watch, and yeah, RATM always goes with these things so well.

It does look very well set up. It's a pity there aren't more vids of it about - it'd be nice to hear it and have a bit more on-board action too.

That's a very pretty motion. Hard to believe it's an FF, both composed and in a mild, mild state of steady oversteer.

Lotus Elise Cup @ Bathurst

Dean Evans in this Lotus Elise has rather spoiled motor racing for me now. Short of Ayrton Senna at Donington in 1993 I don't think I've ever seen such a display of opportunistic passing, late braking and scything through traffic. I want whatever he was on that day...

That is amazing. That squeezing through pass on the right... thought he'd get crunched. GT really needs Bathurst.

Amazing driving (especially for a journalist and especially considering it's Bathurst!), it's hard to believe Evans didn't put the car in the wall. The Elise Trophy was a great series, not quite sure what happened to it, it just seemed to disappear.

If these aren't actually your videos, why not put them in the cool video thread?

Because I feel like it. Essentially. And I can keep tabs on the videos I'm uploading just like I can by uploading photos of my car into my own thread rather than the two or three general ones. Does it bother you?

There's never been an official Elise trophy in the UK either surprisingly, given that you'd think it's almost the perfect car for a single make series, not to mention it'd probably make Lotus a fair bit of extra money in spare parts and the like!

Just out the shot he has a huge red "GOD Mode" button on the dash.

Probably. Either that or every other driver on the track had got out on the wrong side of bed.

No, I was just saying. I appreciate the ones you've posted though.
