GT4 vs GT5p HSR...

today i decided to find my copy of GT4 and play it , just to see how far the next gen has pushed gran turismo, and i was pleasently suprised, ive taken a few piks of a skyline around high speed ring, you can see obvious additions to the track which make it alot nicer to drive around, and the road tarmac looks a hell of a lot more realistic not to mention the reflections of the car. its good once in a while to look at where gt5p came from and not take it for granted, it truley has the most amazing and life-like graphics.

what you guys think? it amazes me to see the differences after a long time.
 
I too was watching my son playing GT4, and was amazed at how arcadey it looked. I had to have a go and it felt that way too.
GT5P is an immense improvement. I don't need GT5 to be any better, just bigger will do for now. Oh and soon too.:D
 
I find it quite interesting also how they changed alot of things... like stands, paddock and bridges.

Id love to see a GT1 to GT5 evolution of HSR!
 
GT5Ps background and track textures look the same as in GT4!!!

Nice little comparison there, you can really see graphics have come a long way in such a short period.

LOL, I see nothing even comparable in the pictures. The quality, the actual background, and the road textures all have stark differences.
 
I still enjoy playing GT4.. I'll play GT5P for the online play for a while then go back to GT4 and drive around the Nurburgring in my Group C Nissan!... If prologue looks this good... I can't wait to see how a final version of GT5 will look....



and I know its WAY early to start thinking about the next GT... but just imagine.... just think as to how THAT one will look like.

yea guys GT5P has way better graphics and texture than GT4. i saw that with the EVO IX on the demo at a GameStop sometime last fall or summer. whoever doesnt beleive there is a change in graphics see the pics above if not wait on the game and you'll see what we all see.

Only if you have the old 60 gig with the PS2 emulator I believe

Hi you can only play GT4 on the ps3 if you have a launch 60gb console, thats what i use.
