They're for idiots.
Deadline is the 12th of December at 8pm GMT +10 so get 'em in fast!

Golden Oldies:

Best Start To A Race - This is to the driver who produced a faultless start off the line and capitalised into Turn 1.

Best Overtaking Manoeuver - The one moment that caused you to fall off your seat in pure amazement of an overtaking god.

Most Improved Driver - Who has upped their game this season to a new level?

Best Rookie Performance - We had a couple of new faces this season, but who was the best?

Best Single Race Performance - Sometimes a driver is on the ball for a race and outperforms even themselves, this rewards just that.

Team To Watch in 2010 - Which team takes your fancy after this season's performance?

Most Promising New Driver - And of the rookies, who will you be keeping your eye on over the next few years?

Most Improved Team - And which team has really shook up the order of F1?

Biggest Dissapointment Of 2009 - What caused a downer in the Formula 1 paddock this season?

Best Race Of 2009 - Which race had it all? Overtaking, drama, accidents and giving us a truly memorable spectacle.

Best Team Of 2009 - 2009 will always be remembered for some right ol'mess ups by the top two teams, so who gets your vote for the team of the year?

Best Driver Of 2009 - The one all the drivers want, to be number one, you must have exceptional talent behind the wheel of a racecar, and not just outright speed. Overtaking, defending and knowing your limits all amount to becoming the best.

'The Max Attack' Villian Of 2009 - Named after the reigning 3 time winner of this award, Villian of the Year goes to the one individual who really deserves to be shown a lap of Silverstone wet by Felipe Massa..

Hero Of 2009 - Out of all the chaos of Formula 1, who has stood up to it all the finest, this can be anyone connected with the sport.

Unluckiest Driver Of 2009 - For the driver who fealt the pain of walking under a ladder whilst watching a black cat cross paths..

Biggest 'ROFLMAO' Of 2009-What made you laugh the hardest this year?

Best looking car-2009 will be remembered for some damn ugly cars, but which car looked the best?

PM me your submissions

Yeh I hope he show's up soon to do it!!

If not i'll volunteer to do it but we need Bee!

What's wrong with this guy doing it?

Nothing, but he's suggesting multiple threads with polls, which is unnecessary and a waste of forum space.

Judging by what Bee did last time, I think that would be appropriate. However, we need to nominate the categories under which an award can be awarded, and that is the specific purpose of this thread.

Looking at Bee's 2007 winner for teams to watch in 2009, BMW :lol::lol: Look how that turned out.

Well someone needs to get around to doing it soon, before we all forget about it!

Well here's the finalists:

Yes, we all thought that BMW Sauber looked the most promising - 2008 was a strong year where they could have possibly taken the WDC but decided to focus on 2009. Little did we know what would happen next - at that point none us knew about Honda's insane plans (testing 3 different wind tunnel models at once, spending huge resources) nor did we know that KERS would turn out to be a dead end.

It will be difficult voting for the most improved team this year - because both Brawn and Force India vastly improved compared to their last 3 years.

Not to mention Red Bull!

Brawn is a new team with Honda's old employees and their 2009 would-be car. For most improved team this year, Force India and Red Bull of course, and maybe Toyota?

I'll take those nominations, Red Bull over Force India though

How about for underachievers of the year, Ferrari? Williams? BMW?

What does Brawn/Honda's ownership have to do with how they've improved? If they were still called Honda they would be considered a huge improvement still.

Back of the grid (Honda) to front of the grid (Brawn) HAS to be the biggest improvement?!

C.

So, is this thing going to happen?

I would like for it to happen.

Well, if not Bee (where is he??), someone has to volunteer.

Preferably someone with more time on their hands than healthy...

Well, I think he'd have done it by now. Someone please step up and run this thing!

Considering I posted this thread, I'm happy to run it.

It seems I was forgotten in all of this.

No, you were not forgotten, thought you lost interest. Please do run it!

Then the purpose of this thread stands-PM nominations for award categories, please.

Use the form in the OP.

Erm, shouldn't we specify the categories first? Otherwise you will end up with 50 different categories with 1 vote in each.
