He raced in a 4 hour endurance event called the Langstrecken Meistershaft.
His car was the Lexus IS F.
After the race he said “I feel like I am in a dream, driving as fast as I possibly can,”
“The only time I get in this trance-like state is when I am racing a real car. I want to understand what makes me feel like that, and ultimately feed it back into Gran Turismo 5.”
He had to pull out due to overheating issues. The race was tricky as it was wet and dry in various places.

“You must treat this car carefully on the ’Ring, even in the game. Depending on how you drive, you can experience understeer, oversteer or a neutral balance. It’s a good car. But I’d love to be able to assist in making it faster in the real world.”
“What impresses me more than the rapidly changing weather, its astonishing history and its sheer size are the people who come to see and drive it. They are amazing.
This is a true Mecca for all those who love driving.”
 
So that pretty much confirms the ring in GT5 if it has not been already. YAHOOO!

As if you doubted it would be in the game? Along with all the videos featuring the Ring?

However, he raced a 4 hour race in September at the Ring in and IS F

KY has said a few times Nurburgring will be in GT5.
 
This could have been the defining moment for him to consider the application of dynamic weather effect. He has now raced the 'ring in mixed condition and it has had an effect on him personally. He may conclude it unbearable not to include it in the game. Although he goes on to say he is more impressed by the people, than the weather or the history of the circuit how he can include that aspect in the game i don't know. How will he put us all in a trance aswell like he wants to do for us while we play GT5?
 
Nurburgring will be in GT5 no doubt. Kaz loves that track, there's no way it will be left out.

Let me just make a quick note... if you insist on including the Nürburgring, also include the Grand Prix course. I know most people couldn't care less about the Grand Prix course, but why not include the Grand Prix course as well as the massive Nordschleife? That is, unless there are licensing issues with the GP course...

The Grand Prix circuit (combined with the north loop) would probably be a necessity for longer races, because I don't think the Nordschleife on it's own could fit 16 cars in the pits.
 
Kazzy is mentioning the weather of the ring quite a bit. Maybe a hint?
 
This Lexus is the one that I want too see, lexus LFA the most powerful and expensive Japanese sports car

This guy totally makes me jealous. He drives every car that I could only dream of driving, sitting in, touching or even fondling. :(

His best time was around 10:07. Pretty good time compared to the best training run during the 2008 24 hours of Nurburgring (2009 training run was wet and slows the time down considerably) which was around 8:30 by Porsche 911 GT3 RSR.

Noticed that he doesn't at any point get the car loose even slightly, granted it's got some aero. You can hear him pushing with the tire scrub but the car just seems very stable for 420 hp to the rear. Maybe they left tc or stability control on for safety or he's just not pushing as hard as it sounds from the tires?

From I've seen, the track on that day was relatively wet. When it's wet on the Nordschleife old course, it's usually best to keep a good traction by not pushing to the limit. Of course, the real pros driving Porsche 911 GT3 don't have to worry as much cause the car's mechanical grip is phenomenal.

I like his style, he does not over pushes the car so that he wont crash, he fallows the race line pretty well! Man! his dreams are coming true!

By the looks of it, he has a very conservative driving style which gives good consistency and the hugely underrated advantage of: "I don't crash into any walls".

He could have pushed the car harder, but its a big car (and probably relatively heavy for that class of race car), it think its better not to. He is a good driver.
