Given the fact that KY has stated cutomisation is in grand turismo - what level we still don't know yet.

But I hope they allow the ability for the community to share and build upon other people's customisations. e.g. tuned engines, areo packages, livery's.

People have different skill levels and interests, and just like Little Big Planet the community can create or use and improve on other peoples creations but end up with some great cars that are personal to them.

Was any of this possible in previous GT's versions?

Way to bump an old thread, we all know theres body mods from official screenshots on the GT Auto menu.

Guys you know what I saw in the intro CARS! :dunce:

I saw body kits in that leaked intro video

Did you really browse right past the "Body modding, custom tuning and GT5..." thread and post in this 363 day old that had 2 posts? :dunce:

Really?

Really?

Way to contribute. Not only did you post something well-known and confirmed as if it's news, but you did it in the oldest remotely relevant thread possible. Great job genius.

I hope they make the tuning more realistic, like you can adjust in real time how much boost you get from turbos, and your motor will blow if you make it too high.

From the little we've seen from videos of leaked copies, all points to a more simplified tuning system. For example, the engine parts shop section only had Stage 1-2-3 and Racing ECU modification, and the Turbo section, only Turbo 1-2-3 and Supercharger. Even parts descriptions seem to be very minimal compared to past games.

It's true however that the inclusion of an engine rebuild option (in the GT Auto section) might mean that engines will lose more power and more quickly than before with repeated and hard use of high performance parts.
