Who knows when this game is to come out, and i bet most of you are regulars on this forum who post everyday, it amazes me how you guys can be so committed and so excited about the game that you come on this forum, post week in and week out without even a clue of when the game is coming out and you have been doing this for years. I couldn't handle that myself, i come on here every now and then but to come on here on a regular basis would just tease me and drive me mad!

Kudos to you boys and girls, how do you cope?

I am 16 and Im already baldin cuz this game! haha jk. I just have other stuff on my mind to keep my mind off of the game.

Bro i started chilling with heroin users just to make me realize there's people out there that want something even more badly than i want this game.

-> I'm coping quite alright. I have work and school to take care of (now unable to read manga, watch anime, and watch TV), but the most important thing of all is I'm happily busy with my "legendary" Vehicle Wish List. :)

Patience is a virtue. Each second that passes is a second closer to GT5's release. With that in mind, I can relax and be at ease. It eventually will arrive. Just as this month, and this day arrived, so too will GT5's release. Oh yea, and Prologue helps somewhat!

*breathes deeply*:)

I'm doing pretty well.

The weed helps, but not too much...I keep hearing Bob Marley saying "Do that Gran Turismo....GRAN TURISMO, boy"

I doubt people think about GT all the time... work, uni takes up alot.

It seems like time flies really.

Im just looking for GT games (GT5P Demo If You Have It And Would Like To Share Please Do)

I use to stare at the wall,
now I discovered I have a window...

If real life didn't take up enough time (have a kid, see how much time you get for video games afterwards), probably via Modern Warfare 2. Prestige 10x. GT5 should be out by the time I'm done doing that. So, I'm probably good.

I have no job, I have no friends, I have nothing except my computer and video games. Life is very boring when you're 20 and unemployed. I think of Gran Turismo as my friend. But I'm coping well, my friend will arrive soon. I Can't say Prologue helps but Modern Warfare 2 is keeping me busy at the moment. and looking for job keeps me busy too. So there a few things to take my mind off of the whole thing.

I just have somewhat of a life outside of games, so I'm alright.

I'm stay busy playing Ratchet and Clank ACIT right now. When i'm done with that game i have Assassins Creed 2 to play. After that who knows!

You live in Australia bro, the average temperature is like 25 celcius, go outside run bike surf holler at women anything man id kill to live in such a warm climate, our average temp is like minus 10   But that just makes summer that much sweeter, when you can tear off a few layers and girls are wearing so few layers you got that 24-7 and some decriminalized plants as i hear as well.

Work -> GTPSP -> FM3 basically :P

25!? it's 43 celsius today mate. 👍

Yep and Summer hasn't started yet....

As for coping? I just do other things and not think about it, time appears to goe faster than way.

I guess the answer lies in the fact that none of us have come on here and posted a thread about coping. It would seem that you are the one who has a problem coping judging by what you wrote. Besides, forums are for more than just twiddling thumbs and waiting for a game to release...

Also, why is it we have no clue when the game will launch? The current official launch window is March 2010 for Japan, with US and Europe not too much different by the sounds of things.

I'm coping fine. Playing Gran Turismo 4, making YouTube videos, blogging... all that good stuff. I also still have that black device called the PlayStation 2. So I'm doing just fine coping.

I have a life :) Called senior year of high school- good times so far ;)

I just do other stuff. GT isn't the only thing there is to do.

I think Modern Warfare 2 will tide me over til GT5 comes.. :D So much to do in that game... Of course when GT5 does show its face... FINALLY. All other games will be shelved and I wont see daylight for about a month when I first get it ;)

Luckily I am not so much addicted to the GT series... But I am nevertheless quiet excited for GT5!

In the meantime besides work, household etc I do as follows:
> nice dinner cooking (and then eating of course...)
> talking via headset and skype with friends while watching the same videos on for example youtube... I can strongly recommend the "car battles on touge" or the "drift tengoku" videos... damn good and funny stuff! it is a pitty that I can not understand japanese and that the vids got no subtitels in English or German...
> Taking out my real car for a smooth ride (see signature)
> creating some playlists on vidzone

C U on the track

Yeah, there is a heatwave in Adelaide isn't there. My sympathies. Over in Perth, we have had heavy storms and temperatures of 23 C approximately. So, I guess we can observe climate change while we wait for GT5!

Oh, and we can have lives!

...how do you cope?
I've accepted that no amount of crying, whining, ranting or humping is going to put GT5 in my PS3 that much sooner.

I'm just doing what I do and when GT5 is released, good.

I don't worry about it. It will get released when it is released. Once it's released, I'll play it. Parts of it will be fantastic, parts of it will be OK, and parts of it will suck. It's a video game, not something to stress over.

Modern Warfare 2 + Forza 3 =Win.
