Possibly Silverstone or Autodrome for GT5 Demo

I know there is a couple hints at an Indianapolis GP circuit with a couple 'clues' but since the GT Academy is mostly based on the EU market, or atleast the demo for the EU market, I believe it could either be Silverstone or the Autodrome race track where the last two finalists of the GT Academy will be racing a 24hr race.

Here is a video on the GT JP site, which talks about both Silverstone and the 24hr of Dubai race, and also on the Wiki of Autodrome has a "Video games featuring this track." Now I know it doesn't hold much water that it's there and linked to GT5s wiki, but why is it there?

I think either of these tracks shouldn't be overlooked as possible tracks, but Silverstone is more likely.
 
Guess we'll find out on the 17th.

PS - this could have just been a post in the existing 'Demo' thread below.
 
It does say 'part' of a new circuit right? Silverstone isn't that long and only using part of it would be too short of a lap. Just my opinion. I'd love to see it there though..
 
It depends which layout of Silverstone you mean, the National track is fairly short, the International and GP circuits are longer though,
 
Yeah this could be merged. I wasn't thinking, just excited I guess.

However, Silverstone is in the UK, and the GT Academy having it's competition mainly aimed at the EU market, it's a perfect explanation

You do realise Wikipedia is edited by the public? Occasionally not everything on Wikipedia is completely correct, I've found that to especially be the case for Gran Turismo related pages.
 
I know that, and I hate that everyone says it's completely unreliable, not that you are and it probably is.

But I'm just curious to the reasoning as to why it is there, what hints or clues that person might've had to related it to GT5.
 
Assuming Jordan got his info from a reliable source, I'll believe him until I see otherwise.

I don't think it's completely unreliable (I rely on Wikipedia a lot, myself :lol:), but I know there are some subjects (the list of tracks in Gran Turismo :ouch:) which appear to be partially based off of assumption.

But I'm just curious to the reasoning as to why it is there, what hints or clues that person might've had to related it to GT5.

My guess is someone assumed that since the winner of last years GT Academy got to race in the Dubai 24 Hour at the Dubai Autodrome, they assumed it was an indication that the circuit would appear in GT5.
 
My money is on Indy GP track, but although Spa doesn't match up with everything, I'd much prefer it to be Spa. Silverstone National seems a bit too short to run GT Academy, but it would be nice too.
 
If there was different courses for different regions, then Indy would make sense for US, but why should EU race on the Indy circuit if we get to go to the Indy 500? And if they get to be accepted into the academy where they are going to race at whatever track they're going to compete at
 
Silverstone sounds neat. But I'm hoping more for damage. I want to see how much it's progressed since the TGS models.
