This year's Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 with NAPAC, held Friday January 15 through Sunday January 17 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture, is one of the largest car shows in the world with over 600 beautiful cars, 300 exhibitors, and exhibition runs by D1 Grand Prix drift racers. Gran Turismo is also making an appearance with its own dedicated booth.

Visitors to the Gran Turismo booth can take a guided tour, enjoy the latest videos for Gran Turismo 5 and a documentary about Gran Turismo Academy, and even try their driving skills on special demo stations featuring the Gran Turismo 5 Time Trial Challenge (available for download on PlayStation Network through January 25, 2010). Also in the booth is a real version of the Nissan Fairlady Z (370Z) that appears in the Time Trial Challenge.

Elsewhere, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi is speaking at Toyota's booth about a new collaboration between Gran Turismo and Toyota. Presentations are scheduled for Friday at 3 PM and Saturday at 5 PM.

Additionally, pro driver Juichi Wakisaka will be at the Toyota booth on Sunday, the final day of the event, for a panel discussion, and will be taking challengers in a special face-off competition using a special demo of Gran Turismo 5

A new demo?

Could be, or it could be a head to head Super GT race on a known track. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

A super GT race at night in the rain?

Hey a man can dream :p

Cool

Yeah but that already happened, about 24 hours ago. And we've seen nothing come out from the floor.

They did this on the last day of the event. It's already 12PM on Monday in Japan

It's probably just the GT academy demo. I've posted it yesterday at T.A.S. thread about the demo.

That is what i am thinking,Maybe a Spa or a Tokyo demo?

Who cares what was at the show, are we getting the demo with the Ring and all the rally cars and race cars on January 25th?

*edit*

I guess you're referring to this...

I highly doubt anything will come of it, the TT demo was always set to be closed on the 25th, it was open for a set time probably for legal reasons to do with the competition. It would be nice there was another demo but id just rather they finished the game now :)
