I found these shots in a game catalogue in the Taipei Game Show back in February.
I think that some of these screenshots are new (correct me if I'm wrong), although they don't include new tracks or cars.

Some of them are new, good find!

This didn't really deserve its own thread IMO, but appreciated. Next time, post in the news and discussion thread just to be safe.

Regarding the scans: these seem like new angles of stuff we've seen, at least most. Some are old. There's nothing really new about these. Thanks!

That driver's visor is up, unusual, since all of the GT5 vids and pics shown so far have the visor down. And he has a properly modelled face :)

Hopefully that means you can customize your driver a bit.

Looks better like that, more personal and realistic.

GT5 is goimg to be amazing, the customizations are going to be on a new level. This is just my feeling im my heart.

Thanks, havent seen some of them so far.

Everybody is tired of seeing the Tokyo track, but no one can deny: It looks fantastic. 👍

I miss that 370Z, too bad they took out the TT, but the best is yet to come. ;)

Nice find, thanks for scanning/uploading.

Definately interesting enough for a new thread.

Nice find. Interesting pictures, thought it brings now new information sadly :(.

In the second picture down (rally cars), it looks like a tire came off and is bouncing off the hood of the Suzuki behind the Subaru. Maybe it came from a tire wall, but I don't see one.

There are two tires bouncing all the way, if I recall correctly this is the short straight after the first left-turn of tokyo, there's a tire barrier "protecting" the cars from the first 90º turn, the tires must have been hit and pushed by the cars.

EDIT: The first turn in Tokyo is taken to the right.

Nice one not seen some of those before..

Why does everone say it doesnt deserve its own thread. The general news section is soo long and clogged up its hard keeping track. :nervous:

I open up GT5 section and instantly see a new thread about something new and its great as all the looking/searching is all done for me. :)

Why does that Xanavi Nismo GTR have headlights on in broad daylight? The Ford behind it, however, doesn't.

Hmm...you're right. Interesting and suspicious. It seems that some of the rally cars have also their headlights on, while roadcars don't. User controlled headlights anyone? (YAY!!! :D Another button to use in my G27 ).

would be nice if the "horn button" on my DFGT worked the horn in game.
honking at slow poeple online to get out of my way, lol

I might be reflections, not actual bulbs that are on.

Is there a horn function in the older GT games?
I loved the horn in Midtown Madness and Rallysport Challenge 2 :-)

no. some of the older NFS games had working horns, and the horn sound was correct for each car. I miss the days when NFS games where good.

Movable visors confirmed!!!!

Actually race drivers use head lights during the day to flash slower cars or cars they are over taking. This could be useful (if its available) in online races. And of course to put pressure on someone you have been trying to overtake for awhile.

The gray Nissan on the right looks ****ing amazing.

The Corvette in Prologue also has its lights on, its nothing new, the Subaru had it in all in-game videos so far and i think the Super GT GT-R too.

silver/grey is one colour that looks amazing in GT games. In GT4 I always bought my cars in that colour where possible, and then add gold rims to finish off the sweet look 👍

Based on the cars in GT5P, white is the new GT hotness.

👍

White looks awesome on just about every car in prologue.

I thought race cars are required to keep the lights on...
