this thread is supposed to have ALL gold licences in video-form, so that there is a visual reference how to tackle the tests.

yea nice. would be nice to know what gold unlocks. don't want to miss any important things. managing silver with my G27. gonna take some practice with it to get gold :(

Nice, thank you for this. I play with a controller (for now anyway), and had a real hard time getting gold on some of these, so your videos will help a lot. For me, test A3, cone slalom was a killer trying to do it with a pad

Oh B-5 yeah, that was one of the hardest. Ok, in this test, what worked really good for me is=braking as late as possible (means only one hard brake) and not hitting the apex of the corner perfectly but getting the car more to the middle of the corner, so you can get out with even more speed, I hope that helps.
 
Just wanted to comment on some of the ones i have done....

A-3 - Mini slalom was challenging, once i worked out places to back off the throttle it became a lot easier but was one of the hardest

IC-1 was actually quite hard, 1000M stop start, required to get 26.700 - I kept getting 26.716 (or there abouts) then learned its all about perfectly launching the car. (obviously followed by perfect braking and gearing down - thats the easy bit though)

The rally ones are surprisingly easy.

I'm currently on IC-3 finding it tricky, the 370Z and two hairpins - need to work out a better line through them - I think i could be on this for a while as my best time last night was around .300 away from gold.

Is this using the YT upload feature in the game (is it even in the game) or it just another set of video with a camera pointed at your TV screen?

For additional references on each test, PD gave us a video example of how to pass it. Not sure if others mentioned this or knew of it, but on the screen that describes the test, click the little button with the blue arrow in the middle. A narrative and an example of a successful run is there to help... good job by PD to add this.

Had some problems with A8, would not have known how to do it without your video

Wheel, the DFGT. I know my driving style looks sometimes as if I'm using a controller, so jerky, but that is because I drove some tests only one or two times and got already gold and because I still didn't know the car or track very well, my driving was not that fluid.

Are the International licences that much harder than A and B? I can just about manage gold on those, with some difficulty. If it gets much harder I'll give it a miss, 'cause my veins are about to explode.

Haha, well, they get definately harder, some of them are a real treat, but it's possible. :dopey:
 
I'm having trouble with A-1 gold now. I'm starting with full throttle and slamming on both the brake and e-brake at around 11.800. My best time so far is .006 off the requirement.

Edit: done it! I went into a 90 degree skid at the end to slow down faster.
