XJ13 will be awesome. I'll have something to beat the historic cup races with I believe. The m3 will be nice for the german races as well. More cars I don't have to buy.

you cant race the historic cup races with the crome XJ13 - sorry Ive allready tried

Sorry, but isn't this the same as the news story from last week? The original says it's just for Japan. This article simply removed any mention of this being japan only. Did I miss something, did SCEA announce the same thing as SCEJ?

Sorry if it's already been posted, but I couldn't find mention of it on the forums, and thought it would be good to share it. It would really suck if they only released it in Japan-there are a lot of us in Europe and USA!!!

Yeah, look on the first page of the news. The site just copied what was said and didn't mention the part about this being confirmed for Japan only, so far.

I feel sorry for those that paid extra for these cars... Thought they were extra, but you paid to have them a month early instead! I guess the other stuff you get as well makes up for the extra cost though - until you can get the APEX book free in shops in January!*

* Disclaimer - THIS IS A JOKE. Someone will think I've sourced that from somewhere....

Wouldn't hurt to see if it worked for NA/EU players.

Ya especially considering the Western World is largely Christian and Eastern World isn't!

Giving a Christmas present to a Buddhist is about as logical as giving a tip to a hooker; they'll take it, but they don't deserve it based on the reason behind it.

Just LOL!

Anyway. Europe got their version of Jaguar XJ13 Chrome from the Facebook 'event'.
We'll see if we will get the other two cars. Would be nice ;)

That sucks, I already have these cars :(

Why dont they invent some new chromes so the guys that pre-ordered dont feel screwed over?

Because:

1. As stated in the interview about adding new cars in the future it takes a long time to render them.

2. Obviously this give away wasn't planned when the game was shipped. It was a thank you.

3. Only a small fraction of the people who bought the game got the edition that had those cars, there are not as common as you think.

That being said. I would like to know where are the cars??? Perhaps they mean't midnight tonight, Christmas morning, but still Christmas Eve night.

They dont have to render a completly new car, just chromeline an LFA or Aston Martin...

Then people would be complaining about that. And that may take longer then you think it does.

not that long, really, i wouldn't imagine.

probably about as long as it takes to make a custom skin for Unreal Tournament 3... probably quicker. i mean, that's all they're doing. applying a new color to an already made car.

i doubt very seriously that Polyphony Digital spent all that time to create, for example, the Audi R8, then started from scratch to make the Audi R8 Chrome Line.
it's the same car, only with a new color and minor tuning (which can be done in-game).
